Truck
Pros: No one in particular, but the sum of all the normal things which would be extra on other vehicles
Cons: ride and noise
This is a sport mini and I should have know better than to buy it. It is noisey and rides rough as a 6 ton truck. It handles great, never had a problem, and get good service. Still, for me, it makes too much noise on 19 inch truck tires and the ride is too rough. I made a mistake.Never buy an Acura
Pros: The thought of getting rid of it
Cons: Workmanship
The quality of this car is shockingly shoddy. We had rattles, things that didn't work (nav system; speakers; even the Acura road service--we were told no one was available and just tough luck to us with our flat tire!!!) and problems from the start. The latest horror was a heater core that failed at 60,000 miles. And again at 62,000 miles. And then a radiator that leaked at 63,000 miles. Total cost to us: $3500. When contacted, Acura said none of it was their fault, and we were just out of luck. Clearly, none of this should happen at such low mileage. Shoddy construction, poor workmanship and even worse 'customer service.' I will never buy another one of these cars, and neither should you.very dependable, comfortable car.
Pros: comfort and roominess
Cons: gas mileage
Best car I ever owned!Best Vehicle Ever !!
Pros: Head room
Cons: Nothing
Best combination of power, looks, storage space, and good gas mileage in a vehicle that I have ever owned.Lousy -- so many better options out there
Pros: None
Cons: Noise, etc
Acura tried to save money by omitting certain necessary features. No heating or AC vents in the back. Terrible visibility and loud engine noise due to 4 cyl. engine. The Muran, for one, is a lot better choice. Not so sure
Pros: Seat comfort
Cons: Nav/phone is hard to figure out (might just be me); 3rd row seat and not much cargo room when up.
Bought brand new 2009 MDX - needed luxury sport utility to seat 7 with fold down rear seat; didn't want V-8; didn't want non-local dealership, so that cancelled out Benz, BMW, Audi and Lexus. Not so sure if it's worth all the hype and the pricetag. Fan runs super loud; handling is fabulous - totally; comfort is awesome with plenty of leg room - and I'm tall; 3rd row seating is terrible and feels like a clostrophobic's nightmare; lots of little tics and noises when car warms up, when air is on, fan runs off and on constantly; just not sure if it's all that.Pros: Extremely good handling
Cons: Poor quality
Advice: Don't
I have had this vehicle for a little over two years. The overall quality is just not there door moldings falling off armrest leather stretching. Handling has been absolutely superb, but at a high cost of low mileage per gallon, very disappointing for a four-cylinder.
