Toyota has been a big contender in the pick-up truck market here in the U.S. for quite some time. The full size Tundra has been so successful that the Japanese automaker introduced the third generation of the half-ton hauler back in 2014. However, for 2015, Toyota is making one big change to the Tundra by dropping the venerable 4.0L V6 engine from the line-up. Despite the ever-growing trend towards six cylinder pick-ups, Toyota was not able to move enough of the V6 models to bring them back for 2015. This means that you can only get the 2015 Tundra with either a 4.6L or 5.7L V8 engine.

Playing catch-up with the rest of the pack, Toyota is now offering an integrated trailer brake controller on the 5.7L V8 models that are equipped with the optional trailer package, not available on the not the 4.6L version. While some double cab models get a new under-seat storage tray, the big news for truck owners might be that, for 2015, the Tundra comes straight from the factory with a spray-in bed liner.
