Pros: Smooth ride.
Cons: I like everything about this truck.
Advice: There are trucks with more power
This truck is very comfortable to ride in. It has plenty of room in the back seat for full size adults. I owned a Tacoma before the Tundra, and I love both of them. I've never had any mechanical problems with either one. My Tacoma was a 1999, which I owned for 5 years. I don't think I will ever own another truck, besides a Toyota. You will always hear stories about how someone's 1 year old Ford has transmission troubles, but you will not have any complaints about Toyota. I highly recommend this truck.Pros: handling, power, plenty of room
Cons: turning radius - don't try for a tight space between two cars at Walmart! It ain't gonna happen
Advice: Make sure you don't mind the fuel bill - this is not for economy minded people
I'm very satisifed with the room, comfort, and ride of the Tundra double cab. I was very torn between the Titan and Tundra, but the Tundra was a low mile trade that came with many accessaries I would have paid dearly for to have installed on the Titan. Overall this is the nicest truck I have ever owned (and I thought a lot of my dear old Dakota!) The back seat was well designed for adults, and is very comfortable & roomy. The back doors are full size, unlike some of the other trucks. The TRD Off Road suspension really helps the handling of this truck. I'm not a speed demon, but I like to lean into a curve with confidence. The V8 is SO quiet, but it can SO come alive! This truck is a pleasure to drive!Pros: Appearance and comfort
Cons: Lack of Toyota after market accessories i.e. Homelink is factory installed only
Advice: Drive and price the others and by all means, don't forget reliability and resale, very convincing
Acceleration is great, like the 4 speed auto over the 2005 5 speed. I happen to like dark green/jade and it is not available for 2005 so I bought a 2004 that was a dealer inhouse lease car.Pros: Salsa Red Pearl
Cons: Turning radius, looking for a solution! Small tires/rims, will buy some that fit the look!
Advice: Don't short yourself, get the options you want, you wont regret it!
This is a car with a bed on it! It rides like my wifes Lexus GX470 and has the interior like it(DVD, cordless headphones for the kids, inputs/AC for plugging in Play Station). It has all of the luxuries;leather, wood trim, heated seats, power sun roof/windows/mirrors, CD/tape player, volume/mode select on the steering, cruise control, fog lights, TRD package, comfortable 60/40 back seats/w storage under neath, center storage console w/flip up note pad area/coin holder, locking tailgate/Line X bedliner, 4 full doors, a complete rear window that slides down! Did I mention I love this truck!Pros: the engine and the power
Cons: fuel consumption and the gas pedal
Advice: buy it
this truck is like driving your sofa. smooth and comfortable seat and ride. maybe too quiet. great excelleration and power band. my only complaint would be the location of the gas pedal. it seems to be at a strange angle or location. it makes my ancle ache on long durations. gonna have to look into an aftermarket gizmo or bend the stock part.Pros: Styling
Cons: N/A
Advice: Worth the $$
Solid, plenty of power, and very comfortable. Weighs 6,000lbs. so it's a good business vehicle to depreciate in the first year too.Pros: Double Cab
Cons: Wheels
Advice: Very solid truck! Test drive them all and then buy a Tundra!
I finally bought one!! I have driven them all (several times). You will not be dissatisfied with the Tundra. Tows better than my Suburban!
