Pros: potential horses/stylin/performance
Advice: buy it!!!for those of you who are just looking for a fun ride or on the racing industry, you'll love this fine machinery.well, what can i say. it,s my dream car and i have nothing against it. i guess you could say i adore it. it,s not built to replace the high revvin, turbo chargin supra which i've read in one of the articles. its ment to be driven by people like me. people who are wanting to experince what it's like to be inside a sport car but the same time afford it. i'm sure most of you missed the supra coz i am. so what? it's not like its the end of the world for all yo street race fanatics. i'm teelin you, this car has a lot of potential if you know how to fix it like a true dragg racer.(specially it's big bro the gt-s). and don't even compaire it to the honda civic. their lousy, almost every one i know drives one, all they have is good looks but has nothing against a celica. even the 1997 honda civic si's have no match to the gt-s. you just have to see for your self. the only thing i dont like is the plastic stuff...c'mon toyota you have to represent this fine piece of machinery. all you have to do is invest a couple of $ and you'll see the results. i'm tellin you, thers a lot of potential buyers out there just waiting for a change on your current trims...
Cons: the luggage space can only hold one change of u-trou and a toothbrush.
Advice: don't think about it unless you want to have fun driving. this is not for ANYTHING else.corners well, awesome acceleration, stops on a dime. feel the road like crazy. a little bit pushed around in major cross winds due to light weight. looks like a toy but runs like a beast. toylike features may make it a less than long term member of the family.
Cons: Insuring the thing, seeing others pulled up next to you
Advice: Try one out, you will like it.It didn't cost as much as a BMW or lexus, but definielty drives like one! I tested many cars this time around, but the Celica GT-S took the cake. The car sounds, handles, and looks like a sports car, and turns heads on the road like one too.
Advice: If you want something sporty that handles the road nice; then the Toyota Celica is for you! All your friends will envy you!I own a 2001 Celica and it is my first car! I love the handling and sporty looks of the car! It holds the road very nicely and the braking and acceleration are very precise. I know that in the future when I am looking to buying a newer car, I will definitly consider buying another Toyota Celica!
Advice: Buy a manual celica. If you don't know stick, then learn! The 2000+ celica is a great blend of looks, fun, performance, and practicality. The car handles great and has impressive acceleration for such a small engine. It takes some getting used to, but once you are acquainted with the high-reving 4-banger, you can really fly in this car. The hatchback trunk is huge and gets even bigger with the rear seats folded down. The GT-S gets good fuel mileage, but this is somewhat offset by its premium gas requirement. So if you want something unique, reliable, and fun, go for the celica.
