Pros: Interior, it's beautiful and comfy and smells great.
Cons: Navigation system disclaimer every time you start the car.
Advice: Expensive vehicle to own and maintain, but worth it. Good ResaleI love this car, but it's not perfect... Quality of the interior is fabulous. Navigation system is great if you have the time to learn it, it's complicated and expensive to keep updated. I do alot of long distance driving on mountain roads and the car seems a bit top-heavy around corners. Gas milege is bleak and it needs premium fuel, but you can drive it all day long at 85 MPH and it runs like a dream.
Advice: Go for it, wonderful vehicle perfect in all ways.I have purchase a new 2005 Land Cruiser after owning 6 Toyota products the last being another Land Cruiser. Without a doubt the finest automobile on the road, only one thing, I am just too dumb to figure out the GPS, but I am workkng on, they need a manual for DUMMIES, it would fit me and help me.
Cons: Brake system
Advice: Consider a Lexus instead for better customer service/satisfaction?Purchased vehicle new in July 2004 - very impressed with performance and quality. But after approx. 10,000 miles, brake peddle seems to need pumping a few times to make peddle firm at top. Third time at the Dealer, they state this is within normal mfg. specifications. Pros: The GPS navigation system
Cons: The low mileage
Advice: Altho pricey, this vehicle delivers value. If you can live with the low mileage, this is one of the finest 4x4s out there.I've had my 2004 Land Cruiser for about 4 months now and am extremely pleased with it. The fit and finish are unparallelled. This vehicle represents a step up from my previous three SUVs, all Toyota 4Runners. In my opinion and experience, Toyota's reputation for quality and reliability are well-earned and well-deserved and the Land Cruiser appears to be no exception. Among the few negatives is the poor mileage, although this is no surprise given the large engine and the vehicle's curb weight of over two and a half tons. The vehicle also lacks a digital compass and passenger-side climate control, both of which my 2003 4Runner Limited had.
