Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
Since buying this Toyota Avalon limited in August 2018, it has been unlike any other of the Toyota cars I have owned over the past 41 years! I was impressed with the others that delivered what I had expected as new cars, what I had not expected was the advance in luxury of the interior and materials you never tire of and the pleasure of driving in the handling! The m.pg. has been 47 to 54 mpg @ 65 mph. Strangers give praise! Only the ES-300H is much quieter! "Congratulations Toyota!"
Years owned: 3.5 months Pros *Loaded with safety features *Great gas mileage for an SUV *You can have your cake and eat it too with hybrid performance. Cons *Instrument panel readability in daytime poor *Company in denial re Instrument Panel readability *Customer Experience Center has some arrogant personnel when discussing Instrument Panel readability Over all If willing to put up with the Instrument Panel readability issue, buy the vehicle. Otherwise look elsewhere.
Everything is good in my Prius except now the hybrid battery has gone bad. I am in the process of replacing the battery.
I had driven a 2006 Prius 10 years ago and new they were reliable. After seeing the new 2016 model and hearing they were more reliable and more MPG, i decided to give one a test drive. I ended up bringing it home. I am getting an average of 53.3 MPG on it right now. It drives better that the 2006 which we liked so hope this one last awhile. It also has a lifetime warranty on the motor for me.
I bought this car used a few months ago. I like this car because of the great gas mileage. Every tank I have exceeded the rated mileage for this car. This used car has been very dependable (no issues in yet). This car has most all the features you would find in a 2016 version.
2015 Prius is awesome in terms of mileage, driving 17 miles one way to work, mostly highway miles and have reached 52.3 MPG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing below 51 MPG yet. Plenty of leg room for our family of 5, and I can even sit in the back at 6'1" and still have plenty of leg room also. Ride is surprisingly smooth and steering is very well controlled, never thought that would be the case
The 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE feels luxurious. It also has surprising pick-up. It doesn't hurt that it gets 40 miles, or more, to the gallon of gas. The second best Hybrid that I found (but did not buy) is the Volkswagen Turbo DIESEL Hybrid Jetta.
