Toyota has announced that 2014 will be the final year of production for the FJ Cruiser and they're giving it a proper send-off by introducing a limited-run model called the Ultimate Edition.

The FJ Cruiser Ultimate Edition begins with a Heritage Blue paint color and front grille surround painted in white to pay homage to the iconic Land Cruiser FJ40. Under the Ultimate Edition's skin are a suite of parts from Toyota Racing Development (TRD) including an off-road suspension, Bilstein shocks with remote reservoirs, front skid plate, and a set of sixteen-inch simulated beadlock wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich off-road tires.

Toyota hasn't announced pricing for the 2014 FJ Ultimate Cruiser, but does say there will only be 2,500 models of the Ultimate Cruiser produced. They will arrive at dealers next February.
