I traded my 2006 4Runner 4X4 for a 2016 Rave4. A move I regret. The Rave4 has a GREAT navigation system and Bluetooth second to none, BUT ... I miss the body on frame construction that seems to give a stable comfortable ride. I miss the roominess and towing capability, to say nothing of the Off Road capability. I am reevaluating my error and see another 4Runner in my future.
Pros: Handling in snow and slippery road conditions.
Cons: Stowage for CD's.
First automobile I have owned that all four doors snap shut like a refrigerator door. Car is silent running and very comfortable.Heating and cooling system excellent. Handling, braking excellent. For a large vehicle has excellent fuel mileage (18 to 21). Looking forward to future ownership of later model.Pros: Handling/ Performance
Cons: How it handles around curves a high speeds (75 MPH)
Advice: Buy one if you can/ Toyota makes a very good SUV and other cars.
I Drove from Provo Ut to Spokane, Wa. in snow, wind/rain, ice patchy roads/ Mountain conditions in bad weather. This is a very fine, stable, performing Toyota 4x4 Sport Edition. Handles well. Just like driving a Lexus. Didn't slip and slide at all in the weather elements. Very comfortable seats and vision. Lots of extras. Smooth machine.
