Pros: Loaded standard equipments
Advice: LX is the better deal than S modelYou can't ask for more in a compact car with such great value. Everything you want or even don't want is equipped with this car at a great price. LX model is loaded and it costs as low as a base mode Civic. Stylish look, both in and out. Roomy passenger cabin and trunk. Perfect!
Pros: Leather seats and sound system...
Cons: The rear of the car needs to be restyled
Advice: Good solid car, and warranty! My EX is great. The leather feels very expensive for a vehicle like this...I looked at a Hyundai Elantra GT, and this call just felt so much better, interior wise, and the engine was much quiter....
Pros: all the features that come standard
Cons: very small trunk
Advice: nice alternative to Accord/CamryWhen I first laid eyes on the Verona EX, I was surprised by it's size and graceful styling. When I saw that standard features on the EX included almost EVERY feature you could dream of, I was floored. The seats were very comfortable and roomy. Legroom in both front & back were ample. Now the drive; as I took off, I was greeted with little road or wind noise. Accerelation was adequate for my needs but muscle car fans better look elsewhere. Cornering and smoothness were great and I truly enjoyed my long test drive as I opened the moon roof, jacked up the stereo and drove onto the highway.
Pros: everything associated with sound system
Cons: no cruise control
Advice: get the extended warranty, original 7 yr 100000 only covers engine and transmissionFor the most part, a great car, only a couple things missing. No keyless entry and no cruise control on S model. Everything else is great, a lot of fun to drive, has many nice features, great 8 speaker sound system, cd and tape deck, back seat arm rest, 2 12 v plugin jacks, lots of headroom, very quiet and responsive.
Pros: The appearance of the dash and console.
Cons: the key. it is very difficult to start the car and remember not to hit the trunk release.
Advice: take it for a test drive you will love the feel. The vehicle handles and rides as well as any $40,000 car. I am extremely satisfied with the Verona. If I continue to be this pleased, my next car will also be Suzuki.
Pros: Silky Engine, Space, price, Features, Warrantee.
Cons: Slightly slower acceleration.
Advice: For one on a budget..a definite BUY against others.I was looking for a replacement for maxima 1993. I test drove Camry and Accord (Used 1-2 yrs). Armed with a limited budget, need for space, good performance expectations, I test drove the Verona. This is what I found: 1. Style : Excellent 2. Power : Good for Family use. Not a Race demon. 3. Space : Ample..We were used to space in a maxima..This car gives equal if not more space. 4.Fuel mileage : OK. Could be better. 5. Features : For the price this car has more power packed features in its base model (S) than many of the others. 6. On Road : Very Silky run. No Vibrations. 7. Turning : Very Supple hold on road. Feels Solid.
Pros: The extensive passenger room and the interior styling (leather seats, sunroof). Also, the chrome door handles make a nice touch.
Cons: The middle compartment could be a little more user friendly.
Advice: It's worth a look and a test drive!! It feels like a luxury sedan for thousands of dollars less. Especially sharp with tinted windows!Very smooth driving and quiet. Little road noise compared to the Altima and some Hondas. Comfortable for long drives especially in the winter since the Verona EX has heated lumbar seats. I was impressed with the luxury feel of this car. It is very solid and well designed. People drive up close to me to see what it is? I think I'm one of the first in the state to own this car.
