When I first got in the car I was amazed with all the room it had. On top of that the seat were very comfortable. The design of the interior makes everything accessible for the driver. The car also has a very big size trunk which is ideal for a mid size family. For such a compact car it has a lot of room and power and the car is great on gas. -

Advice: for more performance get the 5 speed, for value get the S trim level its still a great car
At first the Forenza seems to be a little sluggish give the car some time. The interior is great with no cheap plastic covering every square inch of the dash like some cheap rental car. After a while you get used to having the radio controlls at your finger tips, so driving any other car without this feature makes you wish you were back in the Forenza. Switch on the hold button next to the shifter on the automatic trans and this little car comes to life with good accelaration for a small economy sedan. The hold feature lets you decide what gear to be in, first gear on the automatic is a little drawn out. Shifting into first gear while in the hold mode does produce a slight jerk from the transmission while sitting at a light.The car has ample trunk space and cool tail lights. A plus when you want to look aftermarket on a budget. -

Cons: I hate how the check engine light keeps coming on every 1000 miles
Advice: Do NOT buy this vehicle unless you plan to visit the mechanic every month or so. The car has stalled out on me mid-driving (not a a stop either, I was moving) twice. (Good thing I wasnt on a busy road)
I thought when I test drove this vehicle it would be a great car for the money. Comfortable, mid-sized, and handled easily. -
