Pros: Stereo system
Cons: sluggish acceleration, buzzy whiney engine when pressed to limit
Advice: Shop around, in my area the price range between dealers was around $2,000 differenceThe Forenza has a relatively smooth ride for a smaller car. It's suspension does not totally isolate you from bumps and jars in the road, but it does not transmit much jarring to the occupants either. The engine noise and road noise are low, except when really stepping on the accelerator, then the engine becomes buzzy, and whiney. It could use a little more power on the engine too, as well as better fuel economy. The nice thing about the Forenza is that the quality of fit and finish is flawles!! No rattles or weird noises at all!! Great stereo system!! Has nice features for the money!!
Pros: The stereo system
Advice: Easily parked, smooth ride, great looking, does not pollute the air as much as other vehicles. This was my first purchase of a vehicle and the first time I saw this car I fell in love. I had considered other cars such as Honda Civic, Elantra, and well I was not pleased with their appearance. Perfect car to manuver in and out of lanes, parking is easy to find, 8 speakers which I love and well the ride is very smooth.
Pros: Size Steering wheel Controls
Cons: Fuel Economy Integrated Key Fob operates door locks , Spare Keys $$$$
Advice: Gas prices soaring beware of all EPA Estimates I find they are always 30% Higher than what you receiveLooked at quite a few small wagons. The size of the vehicle was important. Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback was one option. Quality of the Mitsubishi was better. Forenza Wagon has a great standard features but lacks what all vehicles do today, fuel economy. I purchased the Forenza Wagon LX and am hoping fuel economy will be better than it appears it will be. Needs larger engine and some real thought to fuel economy issues. Nice package , not as solid as the Mitsubishi Lancer. Hoping not to be disappointed in my purchase of my first car form other than an American Manufacturer.
Pros: heated side mirrors
Cons: fuel economy sucks. gives me only 15mpg in city and 20mpg in highway
Advice: If you consider for fuel economy please dont buy this car.test drive was ok. i liked the extra space inside.
Pros: Outstanding visibility
Cons: no light in glove compartment
Advice: Buy IT its a great cross between a mini van & a SUVThis wagon has excellent visability, lots of leg room, and a drivers sear which adjusts in height and a lumbar back support. Is responsive and handling is great. 4 wheel disc brakes give excellent braking results even without abs.
Advice: test driveThe car is designed perfect for me. The color, style and design is great. The only thing, I have found, that is very disturbing is the way it shudders when I turn or take off quickly. I even had the corporate Suzuki person come down and he told me it was 'normal'. I don't think a car that shakes is normal.
Pros: Electric side-view mirrors, and sound system!
Cons: Wish my model had cruise control (didn't want all the other stuff) and gas mileage not the best given its size.
Advice: This car has lots of extra's and is very comfortable. WELL worth the pricing. This car cruises unbelievably and is very responsive. Try the HOLD release and it becomes down right SPUNKY. Easy to maneuver in the city - very sport like handling.
