Advice: ask about problem with shifting and when it will be fixed
Sluggish between shifting, not very smooth, ask dealer about problem that Suzuki knows about shifting and has not fix for yet. I have 2005 Forenza check engine light is on and had to be towed. Just ask about the shift problem before you buy! -

Not a bad deal for the price. Expect 22-26 on the highway and 18-22 in the city. I like the car enough to start a web site called www.forenzamotorsports.com , and the reason was to show people you can get cool parts for a Forenza. We have a Forenza Cold Air Intake, Forenza Carbon Fiber Dash, Lowering Springs for Forenza, Forenza Exhaust...Forenza Body Kit ( Forenza Ground Effects )..so do not buy a Honda because you think there are no parts for this car. There is!!!! -

I found it to be easy to handle. Very comfortable to drive. Breaking was good. It had good pick-up even with air conditioning running wide open. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

Advice: if your looking for value and reliable transportation with a bit of looks...then this is your vehicle.
The vehicle is great. It can't be beat...you get more for your dollar. My only complain would be the lack of power during take off. The vehicle's stopping was very impressive as well as the way it handle cornering. Overall the vehicle is definately a great investment. -

Pros: Driver's cockpit is simple
Cons: Two Ashtrays are such a waste (This IS 2005) Replace with cupholders or other storage.
Advice: Go with the 5 speed if you can. I found the automatic a little weak.
Purchased a silver 'S' wagon with a 5 speed two weeks ago. Very pleased so far. 30 mpg on each of 2 fill-ups. I must say that it is a very 'sexy' looking car and once it was home, the looks grew on me even more. I'm looking forward to stuffing it full and loading up the roof rack for a trip at the end of the month. -

Advice: If you live in rural america could be an okay purchase
Purchased a 2005 Suzuki Forenza LX Wagon with 4 speed auto trans and 4 wheel abs. Vehicle offers a standard features pakage that impresses. The vehicle unfortunately is underpowered and fuel economy in city driving is bad. I have owned a lot of vehicles and this car being manufactured in 2005 is an embarrasment with the fuel economy performance. If you push the engine or if you baby it in stop and go city driving I am seeing 13.5 to 14.5 Miles per Gallon. This is unacceptable in the world we live in today.
