Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
Pros: good on gas
Cons: Car jolts bad and suspension
Advice: If you buy this car, get a extended warrenty. You'll need it.Bought this car and have found that car jolts like something is the matter with the trans. Also when you go over bumps, the struts make noise bad like they are worn. The grinding noise is terrible. Nice looking car, and good on gas milage, but needs inprovements on suspension and the trans.
Pros: Steering wheel audio control
Cons: Fuel economy
Advice: If you like itI compared many cars in the net and then go to dealers for test driving. At the first look of Forenza Wagon EX, I said to myself, THIS IS MY CAR! Equiped with so many features I liked. Though a compact car, it has 4-wheel disc brakes, side-impact airbags, air conditioning, cruise control, 8 speakers cassette/CD stereo with steering wheel control, sunroof, alloy wheels, remote keyless entry and fog lamps, 61.8 cu.ft. cago volume, and leather-trimmed!
Pros: the cd player
Advice: it's an excellent car for a first time buyerI didn't need a test drive, I read some of these reviews and I just knew I had to get one and I did. This is the first car I bought for myself and I'm very happy with it.
Pros: car has lots of space inside
Cons: quality of the car
Advice: never buy the carhi, I bought 2004 suzuki forenza s in july 2004. From the day I bought it, I found numerous problems with coolent and engine. I got it checked 3 times for over heating problem and seems like it is never ending.
Pros: rear wiper
Cons: i gave up remote keyless entry and cruise control
Advice: i bought inpulsively..don't do that . look it over really wellDrives very nicely, tight steering , great braking .very responsive. However, today in the rain when I needed to go from stopped to go ,it seemed the wheels didn't ' grab ' the road as I would have expected from new wheels on a new car.The wheels spun and I wasn't pressing the gas that much, on my way to school with the kids. As far as driving ving performance, that is my only complaint so far, with a week under my belt with the new forenza wagon.
Pros: The exterior looks
Cons: Poor design of the stick shift. It can easily be moved by accident with your knees.
Advice: Test drive other similar cars. This car looks and rides very good, but the stick shift is designed poorly. A passenger in the front seat if not careful can easily move the shifter with their knee. This is not a car I would buy again.
Pros: Looks and price, I guess you get what you pay for.
Cons: The small tires take away from the looks of the car.
Advice: Don't, Suzuki and their dealers will not get in a hurry for anyone.I bought this 2005 Suzuki Forenza on June 10, 2005, eight weeks ago. The service engine light illuminated on the way home from the dealership and the car will not idle. It has been in the shop for 4 of the 8 weeks I have owned it. The dealer will not make a move without Suzuki and Suzuki doesn't seem to be in any hurry to fix. They keep giving me this BS story about another car in Oregon with the same problem. When Suzuki fixes it they are going to apply the fix to my car. Don't buy a Suzuki unless you are glutten for punishment!
