great car !
Pros: acceleration
Cons: seats
good on gas , peppy , handles wellPros: The 'LOOK' of it. Not like every other car that looks the same.
Cons: Engine noise?I don't know what they're talking about, I don't have any engine noise.
Advice: This car is a great deal for the money with standard 'Options' that you'd have to pay extra for in other vehicles.Great Warranty too.
This is a 'FUN' car to drive. It handles great, accelerates quickly for passing other cars,is great on gas and roomy inside.Rides smooth on the open road even at 70. Standard features include 6 cd/mp3 player, cruise control, air, all power, air bags and lots of other goodies. Seats are comfortable and I like the steering wheel controls for radio. Was comparing it to a Matrix and Vibe and it came out ahead not only in standard features but price too.PLUS,You can't beat the warranty. I like the look of it and the whole package.(free remote starter and mud flaps were thrown in too)Pros: interior lighting (amber)
Cons: I had to replace the front brakes twice within the year (I purchased the vehicle in 12/2004). The first time I replaced the brakes was 6 months after I purchased the car. The second time was in December of 2005
Advice: Research the car thoroughly before you decide to buy. Find out about the durability of the brake system
Test drive was very good. I liked the interior dash lighting and the high seating in the back. The space in the rear for outdoors activities, like fishing and picnicingPros: Interior
Cons: Road noise
Advice: Do test drive the Scion
I have driven just over 1700 miles and have enjoyed just how much the car handles and accelerates. Would like to see the road noise deminished and rear disk brakes added. Great gas mileage so far around 29-30 Hwy/City driving.Pros: AWD
Cons: Engine noise, road noise
Advice: Go for the works, get the SX
Aerio SX AWD: I've put 6K miles on my 2005 Aerio in 3 months. This is the first car I've bought that I haven't had to take back to the dealer for anything! Well equipped, handles, rides, brakes well. Noise, Vibration, and Harshness doesn't rate up to other Japanese cars but it's performance and utility have won my heart. Great warranty, everything works very well on this car.
