Motorcycle now car!
Pros: The amount of room inside from a small car.
Cons: nothing
I purchased used to save money on gas from a Jeep (still have) & this Aerio is great! Love the ride for traveling, little loose for the twisties. Power is great for a car that gets 30MPG average on mountain back roads, highway & traffic. Plenty of torque for the hills. Tons of room when seats are down & rear seats have great room for adults.Pros: The stereo system
Cons: Everything else
Advice: Stay clear, buyer beware, the trade in value is horrible, ive lost almost 10,000 dollars on it already.
I have had my Aerio for less than 2 years and have had to replace my tires 3 times aleady because the way the car is made it wears extremely fast on the rear tires from the outside tread in. Suzuki claims it is a tire problem, and tht the Yokohomo tires that come stock are terrible, but I have had 3 different types of tires on this thing, and they all go bald around 7,000 miles. Also, uncontrollable shaking from the steering wheel above 60 is another common problem myslef and other owners are experiencing. If you want to spend a fortune on new tires all the time, this is the car for you.Pros: All-wheel drive
Cons: The fact the car fell apart as soon as I left the Lot
Advice: Don't buy one
Liked the pricing for all the features. Has good power and unique styling. Unfortunately in the first 6 months I had a front sway bar bushing pop out 4 times, had viscous coupling replaced for all wheel drive, had new tires installed because they destroyed due to another factory defect, had passenger door lock replaced because it failed, and still have outstanding issues....Pros: room
Cons: placement of ignition. needs rear disc. brakes.
Advice: hold on to your hat.
much acceleration, great handling, easy inst. lots of room. drive this car after you drive everything else. p.s. 30 mpg first tank of gas. ( 88 oct. )Pros: Exterior and Interior
Cons: Can't think of anything
Advice: Check the Aerio, Matrix and Scion Xa, i personally liked the Aerio because exterior and interior
I Bought a 2005 Suzuki Aerio SX and its very roomy and the interior looks very cool and the exterior is awesome. Its always a pleasure to drive this car.Pros: Combo of seat comfort and ride comfort. Does not beat you up on an all day drive.
Cons: Most challenging is the auto climate control system. I like it, but still trying to understand it totally.
Advice: Drive one before you choose the Matrix! Am certainly glad I stumbled across it.
First saw and drove the sx nearly a year before purchase. Was put off by the lack of dealers and rare model and tried to like the Toy Matrix, and drove it several times. In the end, just so much prefer the ride, seats, design and feel that bought this one about thanksgiving time 04. Bottom line is both the lady and I love the little car. We are retired and love the ease of entry and exit and the high seating position. Just got back from 1700 mi trip up coast of CA on hwy 1, which is a snakes trail of a road with wonderful views and it was a delight. Am a retired eng. and was reluctant to choose the oddball brand, but so far very glad we did.Pros: Rear hatchback area
Cons: Speedo dial only names 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 130
Advice: Buy it with 60 mo. 1.9 financing
AWD model a little sluggish but living in the upper midwest I opted for the AWD wagon for commuting confidence...the viscous AWD allows the application of the rear drive only when needed keeping the gas mileage reasonable for a vehicle of this type. Roomy, comfortable, ton of standard features, kickin' standard stereo, quirky looks, bold dash look, climate control, good torque, variable height driver's seat, and pretty good handling all work for me.
