Scion's corporate brethren and resident partner-in-crime, Subaru, has announced updates for the 2015 model year BRZ. Like the FR-S, all BRZs will get revised dampers, stainless steel exhaust tips, a body-color shark fin antenna, and a simulated carbon fiber dashboard panel.

The big news for 2015 is the introduction of the Series.Blue Special Edition. This model comes with an exclusive, black, STI-branded body kit that includes a new lower-lip front spoiler, rear spoiler, side sills, and underbody panels. Subaru says the body kit increases downforce up front and reduces drag from 0.28 cd to 0.27 cd.

Complementing the body kit is a set of seventeen-inch blacked-out wheels. Inside are sports seats wearing black and blue leather, with blue stitching. This color combination is also seen on the steering wheel, shift boot, parking brake, and kneepads. Those hoping for a power increase will be saddened to learn that the 2.0L boxer-four is left untouched.

Pricing for the 2015 BRZ is as follows:

  • BRZ Premium: $26,490
  • BRZ Limited: $28,490
  • BRZ Limited w/ Automatic: $29,590
  • BRZ Series.Blue: $30,285

All prices include a $795 destination charge.

The 2015 Subaru BRZ arrives at dealers later this summer.
