Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
We bought the TLX to replace our TSX which was wrecked in an accident. I had driven the 2015 as a loaner car in the past. It was nice, but not quite what it is today. I like the style changes of the 2018 TLX. I also like the way the car drives. I expect because it is an Acura, we will have similar luck as we did with our TSX. So far this TLX is awesome. We love it!
good car
Bought this car new and put over 136 thousand miles on it and had no problems. I changed the oil and put gas in it. Best auto I have owned.
Bought this car with 102k on it and is at 113k now. Absolutely love it, has not given me any issues. Lots of trunk space, kickass stereo, and the bodylines (Coupe) are sexy as hell. The 3.5 leaves a little to be desired, and the 4 speed automatic needs to be swapped out for a six speed auto. Very comfy seats, decent size backseat. Exceptionally quiet car. Would Definitely recommend!
Beautiful car, fun to drive; reservation: hard for short driver to see out.
Have had excellent service. Types of tires used determines interior noise on freeways. In the 13 years I have replaced the alternator, starter, serpentine belt, oil of course-2 times a year. Tires go about 40k, and the gas mpg is 40 on freeway trips whether or not loaded and a/c on at 70mph. I do hate but have become accustomed to the self locking feature. Even if the windows are down or hood/trunk are open the doors can self lock. Keep keys handy. there is no pattern to self locking.
Very advance for it's year.
