Advice: Price is good for class, but must be willing to compromise on comfort

I was satisfied with its general handling, but the suspension seems too stiff.

Pros: How much car you get for your money. No hidden fees!!

Cons: I have to share with my husband. The poor Jetta is neglected now.

Advice: If you get big rims, it makes it very bumpy, but the stock rims are fine

This car is wonderful for the money. It's no acura or accord, but for the price, it is perfect. With a manual, it is more peppy. It is pretty light and low to the ground, but the inside quickly makes up for that. You get an awesome stereo system, and it is amazenly roomy. It feels like you are driving a large SUV, and then you get out of the car and are amazed by how small it looks. We loved that everything came standard, like power locks and windows, keyless entry, cd mp3 stero system, etc. Not only is it very affordable, but the fact that you feel like the dealer is a fool for giving it to you so cheap is very gratifying. It is nice that there is finally a car out there that you don't have to empty your pockets to get all of the things that a car should have.

    2005 Scion xB - (M5)

Pros: Interior room, Bright head lights, electric windows/locks & keyless entry, styling and handling

    Cons: N/A

Advice: Don't test drive it or you will have to buy one.

I test drove a xB and immediately fell in love with it! Bought one and never looked back. I am a big guy that's 50yrs old with bad knees, and this is the easiest car to get into or out of, has a lot of room, is really comfortable and is a blast to drive! The gas mileage is great and it has the Toyota quality. What more could I want for about 16K out the door?

Pros: the spaciousness / gas mileage

Cons: i wish mine had a sunroof :)

Advice: test drive it- fall in love!

i bought the xb over a year ago, and i am still happy everyday with it! it gets good gas mileage, tons of room inside, the best price, trustworthy toyota engine and it looks cool too! Also, having the speedomoter, etc.. up in the middle is great, you never take your eyes off the road. A great car for anyone - and lots of fun to drive! I drive about 45 miles/ day during the week, and it happily accells to 85-90 and is okay there. Just love it!

    2005 Scion xB - (M5)

    Pros: low price, standard features

    Cons: cheesy sun visors

Advice: don't buy this if you are looking for a car for long highway trips

This is the perfect city car--good gas mileage and easy to park with plenty of space for any running around you might need to do (think groceries). It is not the best highway car, mostly because it doesn't have cruise control, but also because the rpms are high at relatively low speeds (65-70 mph) and it's a bit noisy.
