Recently, a shiny black 2014 Scion FR-S showed up at the Autobytel offices for the Mystery Car series. Many Autobytel staffers had already had a chance to experience this Scion sport compact, which is the result of a partnership between Toyota (which owns the Scion brand) and Subaru (which released its own sibling of the FR-S). But whether or not the members of Autobytel’s staff had already seen the 2014 FR-S in person, its arrival caused some excitement. The coupe’s aggressive profile is characterized by a low stance was well as short front and rear overhangs. The 2014 Scion FR-S also features a sharply sloped roof that follows the lines through to the back of the car. Deep angled headlights and mesh grille inserts finish off the front, while a set of thin-spoked wheels completes the look. The black interior, which features red contrast stitching on the sport seats as well as on the shift boot, is a perfect complement to the black exterior finish. Despite the particularly low roofline, the interior proved itself to be roomy and comfortable as everyone took a turn checking out the driver’s seat and snapping photos. The 2014 Scion FR-S definitely got plenty of attention during its appearance as an Autobytel Mystery Car.
