Pros: Raw power
Cons: Hesitant acceleration
Advice: Look at the lexus RXOn my short date with the Cayenne, and my beautiful wife, I realized that this is an exceptional Sport Utility vehicle. The Porsche Cayenne cannot really make a decision on whether it wants to be a sports car or a sport utility vehicle. I didn’t mind the waffling, as the engine sounds like a tyrannosaurus rex living under the car, and the tight fitted seats and steering feels, well, strong and good. With a sticker price above $90,000 you better be getting an extinct dinosaur as an option. I had high hopes for this 2009 Porsche Cayenne test-drive and was left unfull, not satisfied, and pre-occupied with the Porsche Cayenne’s less expensive and very good competitive set. Then again, if you have a lot of money, really love Porsche, and want space but power and speed – the 2009 Porsche Cayenne is for you.
Pros: Exterier Design
Cons: Very Little dealer Discount
Advice: Make sure you get the sport chrono packageProbally the Best looking Porsche to Date for the money.Handling is Tight and responsive will out corner Any car I have driven.I bout this car after I test drove It and after nearly 1 year I am addicted !! After market touches make it even Quicker and better lookinghands down best looking sports car out there for under 100K
Pros: handles like its on rails
Cons: not great looking although better then the 911
Advice: nonelooking to purchase a sports car. have driven vettes, boxters and 911s. Have to say that so far the boxter was the car that made me smile ear to ear. Handles and sounds better then the vette and the 911. Im torn on what to purchase cause the vette looks so dam nice!!! But like i said the boxter ate them for lunch in the fun around town dept. As much fun as hammering around town on my motorcycle and thats a whole lot of fun!!!!!
Pros: The look and the overall feel
Cons: Would like to have a few more horses, but this can be achieved with after-market additions
Advice: Do not buy if you are just going to drive it around town-this thing needs to be DRIVEN on open roads also.Very fun and very fast. Need to get yourself some upgrades to make it sound better and look sharp, which means an after-market exhaust (Tubi for example) and some alloy rims. Not for 'large' people! Space is tight but cozy and secure feeling. This car hugs the road like no other! And it turns some heads-from the admiring ladies and envious guys.
Pros: Tight responsive handling.
Cons: Bose system is not all that great
Advice: Don't buy a lot of optionsTight, crisp, responsive, on rails, steering. Adequate acceleration and very good gas mileage for a car in this performance range if you stay off heavy throttle use. Hard to do. Just plain fun to drive. Have 1500 miles so far on new 2007 Cayman.
Pros: dashboard crono to time yourself.
Advice: Cayman S has more powerThe seats are ok but not the ultimate in confort, The car is set up for speed if you want confort or long drives this car is not it. The handling is suberb specially at high speeds, cornering rocks. I do have a second vehicle so this is my Sunday car, I would not recomend this as a primary car specially for long drives.
Pros: Interior space and performance
Cons: Tiptronic controls located on the steering wheel
Advice: Take a test drive and don't be afraid when you to push the peddle to the metal....This is the ultimate SUV. I am 6'2' 215lbs, I have always enjoyed the Porsche brand but refuse to pay for a vehicle that was uncomfortable at that price. My dreams were answered by the Cayenne.
