Pros: Looks and handling
Cons: Lack of leg room for driver
Bought brand new in 2004. I have had no major problems with this car. I change the oil and keep the fluids up and it's performed well. Good car for the money, though I wish there was a bit more leg room.Pros: stereo, sunroof, just everything
Cons: nothing
Advice: good buy
I had my pontiac 2002 sunfire for a little over 3 months and was in love with it untill someone decided to pull out in front of me while i was traveling at 55 mph and totaled my car. The seatbelts worked great and the airbags were a live saver to me i went flying into a ditch and survived without a scratch on me. The emergency crew told me that i was very luck to come out of this accident alive and they could not believe it. I highly reccomend this vechile to anyone it is sweet and i loved it and should have a good crash test rating in my opinion for being a smaller car.Pros: Styling and economy
Cons: Brakes and Suspension
Advice: It is a great buy in terms of reliabilty
Yellow coupe with 5 speed manual. It is not a BMW but it is lively enough for serious 2 lane commuting, great on gas (33-36mpg), comfortable up front, and gets more positive comments on stying than the Vet I owned years ago. AT almost 50,000 miles there have been 0 problems - something I can't say for other new cars I have owned in the past. Brakes and suspension not quite on par with the well balanced (but a bit noisy) drivetrain. A real buy for the $$.Pros: body style
Cons: nothing
Advice: buy it it rocks!
I love this car its greatPros: It was the sunroof/stereo package
Cons: See below
Advice: Don't.
I bought one, then got into a front end car accident going 13 MPH. The car was TOTALED due to a dislocation of the front frame from the chassis. I had only had it for less than a year, and bought it new, so 'totaled' was a great deal of money, over 9000 dollars in damages. Be very careful buying one of these, or what should just be a 13 MPH fender bender could turn into taking the bus very quickly.
