Pros: the gauges' stylish look
Cons: having to pay for it
Advice: give it a shot, its the bang you're looking for your buck
first of all, the look is real clean. I love the gauges' patterns and style, love the exterior, interior, my GP is greystone with 20% black tints on the sides and read. It is a GT not a GTP, so I don't get 260hp but 200hp is good for me because that pulls pretty good when you drive a sedan anyway.Pros: The sun roof
Cons: The whole Front end problems.
Advice: Do Not WASTE UR MONEY!!!
Do NOT BUY ONE OF THESE!!! I have had problems since I bought it. I've had the car 1 year and I have had the Rack and Pinion replaced 2 TIMES, the rotaters 2 times, 2 sets of brakes, and 2 sets of tires. I'm not joking. GM will not help me with the car now. It was under warranty when it all started and they act like it is all my fault this continues to happen!! Everyone knows that it takes a lot to brake the rack on the car. All GM offered was they would tow my car if it needed that. I have that on my car insurance. Do NOT BUY THIS CAR. I Love mine but to many problems!!Pros: the whole veical package. The fit and finish. My friend just bought a 07 Camry and the interior is not put together as well as my G6. A lot of gaps in the Camry.
Cons: I have the 4 panel sun roof that closed gives off lots of wind noise during higher speeds, but when you open that baby up it is worth it.
Advice: test drive one for yourself. I have had mine for over a year and aside from a minor steering gear problem it has held together quite nicely
smooth and handles nice. Has ample power with a 200 hp engine . Fuel economy is good, I get an average of 25 mpg. I drive about half and half city and express way.Pros: Comfortable Seats
Cons: Not sure
Advice: Make sure you can and want the power and gas mileage
I have owned the last 3 body styles from Grand Prix. I bought the 2004 not because I have had it before, I test drove many cars before even stepping into this car. The price was GREAT, gas mileage and POWER wow they really stepped up in this model. I found the seats to be more comfortable in this model than the past ones I have owned. Love this car!Pros: The body style/look.
Cons: The amount of space in the car/trunk. The water leaks from the windows and in the trunk
Advice: DO NOT BUY IT!
Another Buyer Beware. I've had nothing but problems since purchasing this car in June. The convertible top would not close properly after the first day and eventually has been replaced. Water from rain or carwash leaks heavily into the trunk collecting near near the tire pump and the windows leak. Dealership tells me they fix the issues but nothing is ever fixed. I'm considering legal action.Pros: Corvette engine and power.
Cons: Interior a little tight
Advice: Buy it before you even think of any other performance car in this price range.
Have had my GTO for two months and can't stop thinking I almost purchased something else. Acceleration is awesome, handling is tight, sound of the engine gets all the looks and Mustang drivers look on with envy. Can't wait to take on a long road trip.Pros: I have the wide track so it handles around corners and a very smooth ride
Cons: backseat lacks comfort
Advice: back seat might be a tighter fit if you have teenagers
I just purchased a 2004 and Love the Car!! It handles like a charm. I love the fact that its sporty and drives like a sports car but yet its a good car with having small kids.
