I have owned high performance cars for the last 20 yrs. This car rides very smooth and handles extremely well. I am very impressed with the look and performance and the interior which is one of the nicest that i have ever seen in a pontiac.

Advice: I am sure which ever car you pick will be good but i strongly suggest a pontiacWhen i seen it i knew it was the perfect car. So affordable, but not cheap looking. Rides like a dream, even looks like one. Everyone that see's my car loves it!!! I would recommend this car to anyone. The only problem i have with it is that it only gets 22 mile to a gallon. But thanks pontiac for another great car!!!!!!

Advice: You get a lot of bang for your buckThis car is mean looking and the GT package includes formidable appointments. The 6.0 litre engine roars and the six speed transmission provides precise shifting. At 100mph the G8 GT has plenty in reserve and takes off like a rocket, hitting 130mph just as the automatic transimsission reaches 6th gear. This vehicle embodies true muscle car values and will blow the doors off just about any similarly priced vehicle.
Pros: Remote start(standard equipment)...computer tells average gas mileage, tire pressure, etc.
Cons: Anti-lock Brakes are not standard...and I did not get leather.
Advice: Go test drive one....and dont listen to the foriegn dealers who say these do not get good fuel mileage.Why would anyone want to buy a car half the size, not as safe(again..1/2 the size), and only a few thousand dollars cheaper to get 32-35 mpg when this one get 28-31 mpg.......the Japanese Automakers have alot of people brainwashed. Very smooth comfortable car.
Pros: Body styling and chrome wheels.
Cons: I don't really care for look of the rear end on the GT coupe.
Advice: Take heed to the negative customer reviews. I've had a couple of problems with things I had previously read about prior to buying the car. I ignored them. I had the wet seat belts and a faulty dome light. The dealership fixed both problems. Happy now.I was basically sold on the test drive.

Cons: They should eliminate the 4 cylinder engine and keep the 6 cylinder.
Advice: Buy the 6 cylinder and buy a 4 door. Get the sunroofI bought my silver 4 door 2006 G6 1 1/2 yrs ago. It had 14,000 miles on it. I'm still in love with it. The 6 cyl engine is super quiet, yet powerful & responsive. The stering is very agile. It has a sunroof that does not leak. A great sounding stereo system. All the power options. A great buy for the money. So far I have not had any problems under the hood. It's been the interior where I've had a few problems. The power drivers seat frame broke. They replaced it. The outside temperature gage on the radio is late on updating the temperature. It'll be 70 outside in the afternoon, and the temperature will read 58 from the morning. Then all of the sudden it will update. The dealer has ordered a whole new radio because the temp gage is built in. I hate that because I dont want to part with the wonderful stereo system that I already know. Other than these two interior problems I have had no mechanical problems with the car. The engine is great. Make sure you get a sunroof and rally wheels. Forget the 4 cylinder. Anybody buying this car should get a 6 cyl.

Advice: be leary.............I bought the 05 pontiac g6 brand new..... at 16,000 miles had to get a NEW TRANSMISSION. Because i bought this vehicle brand new, i babied it. took great care of it. At about 20,000 a thumping started in the steering column, had this fixed 5 times, and it still wasn't fixed. Many problems with rotors... Stereo acted up from time to time. Big Nightmare, I just traded it in last week for a Jeep wrangler Unlimited.....
