    2003 Nissan Sentra - SE-R Spec V LEV (M6)

    Pros: 6 speed manual transmission

Cons: the amount of speeding tickets i will have

    Advice: be careful; it's fast

This car is incredibly sporty for the price. If you do buy a new spec V, keep in mind that the upgraded engine is much more delicate for the first 1200 miles and the oil changes will need to be more frequent. If you're looking for a very fast, sporty, high performance car for under $20,000, the spec V is the answer.

    2003 Nissan Sentra - GXE (50 State) (M5)

Pros: comfort - features are all located so you can reach everything easily

Cons: wish it had a little more get up & go when you first take off

Advice: check out all the cars you are interested in & then go check the Sentra GXE. You will be totally surprised at the comfort & the great deals you can get

I did so much research before I got this car. I checked Consumer reports, ratings & comparisons. I basically had my mind set on getting a Toyota Corolla, Hyundai Elantra or a Honda Civic. I looked at all of these makes & since I was right by the Nissan dealership I thought, I might as well check the Sentra out also. I have a 1990 Sentra that I have for 10 years & have never had any problems with it, but thought I wanted to try something different this time. I was so surprised how much the Sentra has changed. It no longer looks like a little box. It has great styling, comfort & options. It is so comfortable to drive. It feels like it was made jus

    2003 Nissan Sentra - GXE (50 State) (M5)

Pros: The looks, the ride and the sound system.

Cons: The compartment between the front seats is too small and not comfortable when using it for it's other purpose, an arm rest.

Advice: Do your homework before buying ANY vehicle, then you will realize this is a really good buy, if your in the market for a semi-compact sedan that gets great gas milege.

Great car for the buck! This isn't your average everyday sedan anymore. I got the extra Snergy package and it enhances the cars looks a bunch, in my opinion, without sacrificing the things most people buy them for, economics and a quality product. Nice riding, good handling vehicle that's very responsive. Back seat is a bit small for an adult.

    2003 Nissan Sentra - SE-R Spec V LEV (M6)

    Pros: Everything I just covered.

    Cons: n/a

Advice: For those wanting the best high-performance sports compact, the SE-R Spec V is the one for you!

For those looking to move up from a standard compact to a high-performance sports compact, this one is for you! It rides smooth. It has plenty of h.p. and torque. It has a 6-speed manual with overdrive. It has plenty of standard and optional features. It still gets 29 m.p.g. on the highway. It has plenty of seating and cargo room. Overall, this is the best sports compact overall I checked! I compared it to the SVT Focus, Mazdaspeed Protege, Celica GT-S and Acura RSX S-Type. I was the most impressed with this one! If looking to buy a high-performance sports compact, this would be it! I highly recommend it!

    2003 Nissan Sentra - SE-R Spec V LEV (M6)

    Pros: syling, power, sound system

Cons: rear styling. Nissan could have made it look different from a base sentra

Advice: If you are looking for the best 'bang for the buck', buy it.

This car is great! I bought a Spec V about a month ago and I am impressed by the amount of torque in this 4 cyl engine. It really gets up an goes. The handling is superb too. I can't believe that this car was only $18,000. It is a real performance bargain in my opinion. I bargained with the dealer and got leather seats at no charge. I am very happy with this car

    2003 Nissan Sentra - SE-R Spec V LEV (M6)

    Pros: 6-speed manual

Cons: no heated side view mirrors and seats

Advice: if you want a great car, at a great price, with great performance, buy the SPEC V

The SPEC V is an awesome little car that packs a lot of torque and speed! I test drove several other vehicles in the under $20K range -- but nothing came close. It's been over 10 years since I've driven a manual transmission (had a '80 Datsun 210, 5-speed). The gears shift very smoothly and it was incredibly easy to adjust to a manual transmission again. The styling is sharp and the interior comfort is great. I simply love the car. Even my wife who was initially opposed to buying the SPEC V because of the manual transmission drives it all the time! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to drive a great car, at a great price, and have a great driving experience over and over again...

    2003 Nissan Sentra - GXE (50 State) (M5)

Pros: The overall look of the car.

    Cons: Lack of 'luxury' options.

Advice: Great choice if you're looking for an everyday car that's inexpensive.

The Sentra has more pickup than I thought it would, especially with only a 1.8L engine. It handles well and hugs the road nicely. It's not the type of car that's going to comfortably drive 70+ mph on long trips but it's a great 2nd car which is the reason we bought it and we expect it to last us years. Very roomy inside, especially for a compact.
