Pros: The pick up when entering the highway
Cons: back bumper dents...especially when they are not your fault (parking lots)
Advice: it's big...get the backup sensors in the bumper....for parking
Powerful engine........Big on comfort and room....great for long trips....Little thirsty on gas....had a problem with the passenger power window......had to have it fixed twice in a 6 month period....watch those molded back bumpers.....very ugly when dented....door latches noisy on moderate bumpy roads..glove compartment in drivers dash reflects in the windshield...small potatoes for such a nice ridePros: nothing at this point
Cons: Everything, especially the manufacturers attitude
Advice: DON'T BUY THIS OR ANY NEW MODELS FROM NISSAN
We bought a 2006 fully loaded QUEST SE.A week after we got it home it started leaking and had to be taken in. The dealership had not told me that there was an outstanding Service Bulletin for leaks from the highly touted Skyview windows. Had we known we would have asked them to test for leaks before paying. We bought this car because we wanted to replace our old voyager because of leaks which led to mold and mildew probs. We have an asthamatic child and can't have that. Once they fixed the first leak they found another from the tail light assembly. The carpet got wet twice and the headliner twice. When we asked that they replace both with new ones, we were informed that Nissan won't cover this if there is no problem. This from a fully covered vehicle, with only 600 miles on it. 400 of those are from my trips for repairs to the dealer who is 80 miles away. Just got a call this morning to say they will replace the headliner but won't have one in for another week. The dealer has had our Quest longer( 1 month) than we have in our 1.5 months of 'ownership'. I had researched both Honda and Toyota and they don't have nearly the number of problems the Quest has, but we had had such good luck with our Maxima that we went with the Quest thinking they would have dealt with most of the problems 2 years after introducing a new model. Rotten egg smells, leaking skyview, leaking sunroof, airflow malfunctions, fuel pump failures and a multitude of other problems still plague the new year models. When 4 of Nissans 6 (Titan,Armada,Quest and Infinit QX56) new models are on the least reliable list, it gives you pause about the new purchase. SO BUYER BEWARE!!!!!Pros: None
Cons: Such poor quality parts
Advice: Do not buy this or other Nissan models at all
One of the poorest quality automobiles I have ever had. Bought it two years ago as soon as it was introduced and have about 32k miles. Beset with problems. Very poor body fit and finish- rattles from doors all the time. After 2 years and about 8 trips to a couple of different dealers to fix this problem, it is still just as bad. Also, poor quality parts, had already replaced wheel bearings in the rear- I had to take the car to the dealer for 3 times for this. Also some times the transmission will not shift. First noticed this about a year ago. Dealer supposedly fixed this, but problem resurfaced last week. Now they replaced the transmission control module. Nissan has issued a service bulletin about this. We are all aware of the many recalls they have had so far and the one they just issued last week for seats. My advice do not buy this or other Nissan models. At this rate, their magical turnaround (profits) is going to be history soon.Pros: the control panel
Cons: shade of fabric
Advice: this van is great for large family with active children meaning very roomy
the test drive was smooth as if in airplane gliding down the road.Pros: DVD player & smooth ride
Cons: Nothing
Advice: Great van! Way better than any SUV
We bought the base '04 model w/ no major bells or whistles. We did get power windows & door locks along w/ the DVD player which is the best. I am not bummed that we did not opt for the power sliding doors since it seems they can be unsafe. I think it's pretty sad if we can't even slide a door open and closed anymore. Love the space and the folding seats which are easy to do. We have had the van for about a 1 1/2 years and we have had no problems at all. We have not experienced any rattles or recalls. My husband and I absolutely love this van. We even added a tow package a couple months ago and towed 2 jet ski's w/the trailer with no problems. I have never owned a Minivan before but I am glad we decided on this one!Pros: Power Sliding door and power gate
Cons: Not available for 8 seats
Advice: Make sure you like the car style
1. The 3.5L V6 engine is powerful. 2. Better acceleration than Toyota Sienna and Honda Odyssey. 3. Smooth ride in high speed 4. Computer console 5. folding seatsPros: it is unbelievably roomy.
Cons: don't have any dislikes yet.
Advice: go for it. it is a great vehicle
Test drive was great. This is a powerful vehicle that has no problems taking off or accelerating. It doesn't drive like a minivan. I have had it for two months now and i am about to hit the 3000 mark. No problems so far.
