AwesomeGreat and comfortable!!
Solid Family Transportation
Pros: Luggage flexibility
Cons: Could have more roomy front seats but I am big alsoThe Murano has 135000 miles with no major repairs. The built in CD Player has a mechanical problem that needs attention. The gas mileage is 22MPG. The fold down back seats allow great flexibilty and maximum luggage capabilty. I would definitely buy another Murano.
Very fine vehicle
Pros: Road manners
Cons: view to rearOf the 20 to 30 vehicles I've owned over the years, the Murano is overall the best for my needs which include several long (multi-day) trips a year. My only quibble - and an annoying one - relates to terrible rear visability. This is something that styling has dictated, of course. Changing the shape of the 'triangular', rear, side windows so that they become larger can be done in a way that harmoniously blends with other body work, and will largely solve the problem, making the vehicle safer. The vehicle performs and hanndles very well, is really roomy and comfortable for four, and has more hauling capacity than one would think because of the wide space between wheel wells.
Best Car I have Ever Owned
Cons: Needs a little more power.AWD is fantastic. Very comfortable and stable on the road. Good gas mileage given it's an AWD. Most unique looking SUV on the road......the one everone else seems to be copying.Extremely low maintenance, no warranty issues, has never let me down.
All in All, A Good Crossover
Pros: All Wheel Drive availability
Cons: The need for premium fuel and poor gas mileageThis is a nice vehicle if you're looking for better than average size and all wheel drive. The CVT transmission is completely boring and needs to be replaced with a traditional one.
Pros: Nav system/Bose stereo
Cons: Premium gas
Advice: NoneIntended to buy a '10 Equinox LTZ but after driving the Murano it was no contest. Much more masculine exterior appeal, more luxurious and roomy interior, and superior ride was worth the higher price tag on my LE AWD w/nav. I cant wait to take my 1st road trip.
Pros: the interior
Cons: engine is louder than I'd like under heavy acceleration
Advice: don't even waste time w/the lower end 'S' model if you're looking for a luxury feelThis is the best vehicle I've ever owned! The ride is smooth and comfortable, the handling is secure and quick, and the acceleration is strong. I definitely made the right choice in SUV.
