Pros: I like almost everything about it
Cons: The climate control system leaves a bit to be desiredThis is probably the most comfortable vehicle I've ever owned and is a dream to drive! It's attractive and the perfect size for carrying maximum cargo without being overly large! It's a great road car for longer trips as well.
Very fine vehicle
Pros: Road manners
Cons: view to rearOf the 20 to 30 vehicles I've owned over the years, the Murano is overall the best for my needs which include several long (multi-day) trips a year. My only quibble - and an annoying one - relates to terrible rear visability. This is something that styling has dictated, of course. Changing the shape of the 'triangular', rear, side windows so that they become larger can be done in a way that harmoniously blends with other body work, and will largely solve the problem, making the vehicle safer. The vehicle performs and hanndles very well, is really roomy and comfortable for four, and has more hauling capacity than one would think because of the wide space between wheel wells.
Best Car I have Ever Owned
Cons: Needs a little more power.AWD is fantastic. Very comfortable and stable on the road. Good gas mileage given it's an AWD. Most unique looking SUV on the road......the one everone else seems to be copying.Extremely low maintenance, no warranty issues, has never let me down.
Pros: CVT Transmission
Cons: Can't think of anything
Advice: Just test drive itWe have driven Mini Vans for years and wanted something sportier so we test drove the Murano. At first my wife didn't like. We drove Honda Pilot, Subaru, Toyota, Buick, Cadillac and we kept coming back to the Murano and its features. I think it was the comfort that you feel from the transmission and the way it accelerates. After looking at over a dozen different cars we dove the Murano several times at different dealers. The only thing our model doesn't have is the navigation system. The sound system is great the rear camera makes backing in the dark very easy to do
Pros: Comfort, Ride, Performance and Quality
Cons: Really have nothing negative
Advice: Get the leather seating and if you are into music the Bose Audio system is awesome! The Murano SE AWD is everything that I expected it to be. I only have 800 miles on it, but it appears to be the best car that I have ever owned! Average fuel economy with a 50/50 mix of city and highway driving is 22 mpg. Quite impressive since I only have 800 miles on the engine.
Pros: Rear camera
Advice: Don't overlook it. The Murano is worth a test drive. This is my first venture into the world of SUV's/Cross-over vehicles. I am 6'6' and have always had a mid-sized car (Accord, Camry, Taurus etc.). I needed more room than these popular vehicles could provide but I didn't want a gas-guzzling behemoth. The Murano is a perfect fit for me and my 6'2' children. The rear seats recline...12 year old kids love that feature on long trips! If you want an all-purpose, well-rounded, reliable, roomy and quiet vehicle stop by your Nissan dealer and test drive a Murano. I believe that you'll like it as much as we do.
Pros: colored screen/ rearview camera
Cons: nothing, absolutely nothing
Advice: buy oneI got my first murano after having a mini-van. It was a 2004, and I just loved it. Recently I was looking for a new car, I just wanted to update and I couldn't get rid of my murano, so I got a new 2006 murano. I just love the way it rides and all the features.
