A Great car
Pros: Too many to list.
Cons: NothingDoes everything well and achieves up to 20 mpg city, 28 mpg highway on regular gas!!
Very nice auto
Pros: Great acceleration
Cons: mild torque steerWe've had the car five months and it has performed flawlessly. We have over 11,000 miles on the vehicle and have driven in five different states in a variety of weather related conditions and the car performed very well.
05 Nissan Maxima SE
Pros: secure feeling
Cons: turning radiusWow, what a car! Very quick, decent handling, great features (well equipped), no problems. Downsides - huge turning radius, requires premium fuel, suspension alerts you to every single pebble in the road.
Pros: It's stunning looks
Cons: The radio in the S model does not come with RDS (radio display system) or XM
Advice: Thoroughly investigate the features of each model before you make your purchaseIn Dec 09 my son totaled my 08 Honda Accord. I was so depressed. During the 3 weeks it took for my insurance company to finalize the payoff of my Honda, I drove a rented 09 Maxima. I loved it so much I HAD to buy one. I love it! I'm depressed NO More! It's beautiful inside and out. The 09-10 body style is very attractive. The seating is extremely comfortable. The ride is very smooth. I don't have the BOSE sound system, but my 8 speakers still sound excellent. I use the bluetooth with my cell phone constantly, it's very convenient and much safer than reaching for your phone while driving. Every time I step on the gas pedal, the powerful 3.5 V6 engine just roars. My 2010 Maxima in Tuscan Sun, now named 'The Maxi Beast' is so stunning, it demands attention everywhere I go.
Pros: comfortable seating
Advice: buy one and kep it until youMaxima is just a great car. Only 30000 miles and no peoblems. I am hoping to make this my last car.
Pros: The power
Cons: When you step on it the power from the engine takes over the steering
Advice: Go ahead and buy one, you won't be sorry.I actually won this vehicle in a lottery. I was going to just sell it but i went and picked it up and drove it home and fell in love with it. I'am now selling my car that i already had. This car is a dream machine to drive and ride.I don't know what else to say, but that it's a beauty. Sincerely, Randy
Pros: Sporty looking with lots of power. Roomy. Great features like Nav with phone # routing and hands free dialing. Although low to the ground
Cons: Back-up camera needs a bell and fog lights needs an on indicator. Steering can be difficult when turning at an intersection. If you step on the gas too hard, the car gets a bit out of control. Trunk sounds like a can when you close it.
Advice: No major drawbacks about Nissan’s best Maxima yet. These are minor inconveniences and as a resultTest drove the Altima 3.5 first. Nice car, but still wanted more. Looked at an '08 and '07 BMW 5 series. I also looked at replacing my '07 Tribeca B9 Limited with another one. Nothing came close to the Maxima's features, power and looks. Thus far I'm very pleased with my purchase (3 months old).
