Pros: The amazing engine and great sound system
Cons: I've had problems with the power driver seat and power windows
Advice: Great buy and sportier than the accord and camry. Try both the SE and GLE before you buy, the SE rides on the rough side.
One word: terrific! The engine is smooth and quiet...it produces great torque at any speed. The handling is good and ride is smothers out most road imperfections nicely. I bought the GLE and I love the bose system, automatic climate control and the sharp ivory leather interior. I'm disappointed by the awful turning radius...at times is makes it tough to love this car when hunting for parking spots that my friend's accords and passats easily slip into. -

Cons: My Model doesn't have the sun roof but that was my decision
Advice: Great all around car for the Bucks
This Car is really a nice car I have put a different exhaust, power chip and cold air intake and it is well over 300 hp and it flies it runs 1/4 mile in 13.08 @ 119 mph I am proud to own it I like that body since it was the last of that series. -

The 2002 Maxima is a great car of excellent fit and finish. It offers you more bang for you box compare to other manufacturers. The car has a great engine, and a great transmission. On the other hand, I found it to be not quick enough at low speed for the engine size 255HP. For lack of a better word, driving a Nissan Maxima is exhilarating. Don't take my word for it test drive the car at highway speed and you will buy it. However the steering is unpredictable at high speed when driving over bumps. -

Pros: The smooth ride
Cons: The headlights are a magnet for thieves. They have been stolen twice.
Advice: Don't buy because you can not park it on the street because it is a magnet for thieves.
The car is a beautiful car and drives beautifully. -
