    2005 Nissan Altima - 3.5 SL (50 State) (A5)

Pros: The ride is silky smooth

Cons: It could use a little more side support on the seat backs.

Advice: Spend the extra money and go for the V6.

A joy (smooth) ride with no wavey action after hitting a pot hole. It's one of the best driving and handling vehicles I have every owned. I blasts away from stop signs like a sports car and smoothly upshifts through the gears. The whole car is well designed and assembled.

    2005 Nissan Altima - 2.5 S (50 State) (M5)

    Pros: user friendly interior.

    Cons: body roll

Advice: if you don't mind the body roll, then this car is for you. otherwise, try the G35.

it's a great car for the money. great interior, love the dashboard look with silver/aluminum look finish. shifter is great too, it allows me to shift from 1st, 2nd, 3rd very smoothly. it's not tiptronic, but it's the next closest thing to it. drive is great too, good power, even though I would probably pay the extra money to get the 3.5 if I would to buy this car. a lot of extra for this base model: cruise control, radio controlled from the steering wheel, automatic headlight, just to name a few. this is a great car for the money, strongly recommended. the only drawback is that the vehicle does not feel solid enough on the freeway, but you would expect the same thing from other cars in it's class, like the camry and accord.

    2005 Nissan Altima - 2.5 S (50 State) (M5)

    Pros: The telescopic steering wheel.

    Cons: Radio

Advice: Test drive you will fall in love.

I purchased a 2005 2.5 S three days ago and have nothing to say but great things. I feel like I'm driving a car that would costs $3000 to $4000 more to buy. I have very well pleased with all aspects of this car. I am 6ft2' and can ride very comfortly. I owned a Lexus ES 300 1995 and my head hit the roof. I like alot more than the Lexus.

    2005 Nissan Altima - 3.5 SE (50 State) (M5)

    Pros: Engine

    Cons: Fm reception

    Advice: Buy, Buy, Buy!!

The 05 Altima has unbelievable acceleration throughout the power range. Off the line I have smoked an 04 Acura TL which has 20 more BHP. I can't wait to install a cold air return and an unrestricted exhaust on this baby! The ride is also quite good. You can get in trouble with oversteer if you punch it around corners though. Overall I am quite happy, I have put over 1300 mi in just 10 days of ownership. This speaks volumes as to how fun this car is to drive. The Bose sound system is good with cd's but the FM radio leaves something to be desired. I suspect the in glass anteana, but it is equiped for satelite radio. I highly reccomend this vehicle.
