Cons: excessve oil consumption
Advice: get extended warranty for used modelsHas excessive oil use problem get extended warrenty. 200 miles to the quart at 32,000 miles. Dealer is great replacing engine with a new one.
Advice: test drive it firstAfter my last altima, (before the design change.) I thought I might be done with the problem of a foggy windshield.I also have an interesting problem whereby if the door behind the driver's seat is open for a few seconds, the car locks activate. I have now learned the importance of test driving a car. I relied upon the performnce of my old one. The new wider body used on the 2003 has a lousy turning radius. Mileage is also poor. However, the styling is a decided plus and the comfort is very good. actually, I am pleased with the purchase.
Pros: Beautiful lines, quick response, roomy back seat

Advice: One of the best and roomiest in its class, be sure to check the engine noise on the highway, get the Bose sound systemCorners well and is a very responsive ride, full of pep for passing or uphill climbs.

Advice: Give it a try. It is a great car and a great value.Loved the way it handled. A smooth ride, not much road noise. Roomy and comfortable.
