Pros: The ride
Cons: the exterior door is easily dented by other cars bumping with their door.
Advice: Buy Buy Buy
2004 Altima. Only problem with this car in the quality of the exterior door which is easily dented. Everything else is tremendous. Love my car. Real Classy. Driving on the road is like riding on air. Very happy. 6/10/06 Previous car was the 1988 Nissan Stanza. Lasted 15 years with absolutely no problems. Nissan makes a great product.Pros: Moonroof and stereo
Cons: Low quality interior plastic components such as door panels
Advice: Outstanding buy -go for it!
This car drives very smooth with its peppy 2.5L enigine while averaging 35-MPG on the highway and 28-MPG in the city. Seating for the driver, front and rear passengers is verry comfortable.Braking is fair as it is too sensitive at low speeds .Handling is acceptional on all types of road coditions .Looks are sleek and up-to-date. I love this car!Pros: Acceleration, leather seats, fantastic suspension package, remote trunk release
Cons: cheap feel of the door handles/locks
Advice: Don't test drive the six clyinder unless you feel like signing new ownership documents.
Great suspension package, Fantastic acceleration, leather seats are more supportive than the cloth seats. Plenty of leg room (front and back). The six cylinder is a must. A little disappointed that the vehicle pulls to the right during acceleration. Not bad enough to complain to the dealer though as the rest of the package is great. Have received nothing but compliments on the vehicle.Pros: The engine!
Cons: The spoiler
Advice: Enjoy your test drive and buy the car afterwards. You won't be sorry.
Fantastic Car! Rides very quiet, handles like a sports car and the 3.5 V-6 has power to burn. The automatice transmission shifts so smoothly you can barely feel it change gears. Huge trunk with very convenient cargo nets. The seats are very comfortable and supportive. I've seen the car rated poorly in automotive magazines for having a plasticy interior, but whoever rated it that way has to be crazy.....the interior is just fine as is, with no fake wood or tons of chromed junky trim. Controls all easy to read and find. Bought the car at $500 under invoice from Steve Holmes at McGrath Nissan in Elgin, IL and had the best buying experience of my life there.Pros: Soft touch braking with a nice feel. Good Acceleration!
Cons: Oil Filter location / oil leaks down on chassis and makes a mess.
Advice: Don't judge this car primarily on the interior, door panels etc, the car has a lot more to offer.
This vehicle has excellent throttle response for a 4 cylinder automatic. It also breaks through the wind with minimal noise inside the car. The gas mileage is great and handles very well. Strongly recommend this vehicle.
