good value, safe, comfortable car
Pros: Traction control/6cyl engine/AWD/better lumbar support
Cons: I don't like where the computer control button as been repositioned versus previous modelsI have had several Subarus, so I know what the other rater means about the loudness. Subarus tend to be a little on the loud side and you do hear the road, but this has advantages. Dealerships are individually owned/operated, so this shouldn't reflect on the car. Both dealerships I've used have been as nice and honest as car dealerships get...
Pros: The sun roof, of course!
Cons: Slow accelerationI love my Subaru Forester. It is very comfortable and is great for hauling kids, groceries, furniture, oversize items from the hardware store and more. The oversize sun roof is really nice, too. I live in northern Canada and it is dark.... I can let in all the available light and this improves everyones mood when you spend your winters living in the dark. The only complaint that I have with the car is that it doesn't have a lot of get-up-an-go. The acceleration isn't what it could be. The vehicle is small enough that it should be able to have the extra power. However, the all wheel drive is a great feature in the northern climate. The car is also great in the extreme cold. It just starts right up and actually defrosts in a reasonable amount of time. Overall, it is a great car and gets great gas mileage!!
A nice buggy overall
Pros: Automatic cliimate control
Cons: Non-collapsible side mirrorsI'm quite happy with my 2.5i Limited. I knew going in that it's not a rocket sled, but power is adequate, as is the CVT. Comfort, IMHO, is very good and quality seems to be up to Subaru's usual high standard. Driven sanely, it returns good mileage No regrets, would buy it again.
Pros: Size and appearance
Cons: There is nothing that I can sayu I like leastThis is may second outback - I traded the 2003 with 140000 miles - It stil;l ran great but the trade value allowed me to get a great pricwe on a 2011. I also own an 06 Leagy GT Wagon and it has 80000 miles - I figure I'll keep it until it hits 200,000 miles GUESS WHAT - I got 33 miles per gallon on a trip from the Jersey Shore to Syracuse NY and back.
The best vehicle Ive had..
Cons: seatsgreat awd vehicle out there.. I feel safe and its reliable for family or a single person..
Best for least
Pros: Interior space
Cons: No negativesI've never owned a car that has delivered the most satisfaction for the money. Remember, FOR THE MONEY. Was able to purchase in 6/2008 with no $ down and 0 % interest for 2 years. Not 1 problem and minimal maint.
Excellent all-around vehicle
Pros: Open feeling in a smaller vehicle with great moon roof.
Cons: Could have more spaceCould use more space for my personal usages but overall it meets a variety of needs well. Good winter car that allows for fun in the summer. I've been averaging 26-28 mpg over the life of the vehicle. Seats could have some extra padding.
