Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
This car is the best car I have ever owned. It does not get good mileage in the city, but that is not what I bought this car for. It is our go to highway car. Love to take it to Mammoth to go skiing. It handles the curves better than any other car. You can go 75 around a curve that is marked 55 mph with no problem. Going up a upgrade, no problem. Pass cars like they are standing still. We get around 21 mph on the highway and that is not at 70mph.
Totally spoiled. This vehicle is so incredible that I can't imagine buying any thing else. The quality of the car is the most amazing thing.
Good suv
Pros: Heated steering wheel
Cons: Gas consumption
Good overall - no problems. Uses lots of gasvery best suv for me
Pros: smooth, responsive engine
tight solid interrior excellent speed . good looks very convenient dials and knobsPorsche Cayenne V6
Pros: The sport mode on the transmission ,it changes the calibration and Rev limits and changes the performance . .
Cons: The std leather , should have got the soft leather option .
Just stepped up to a 2010 Cayenne V6 ( from VW R32 engine). Listened to Edmunds and got a smoking deal on a Dlr demo with 5000 miles. Owned lots of Suvs ,nothing handles like this one and great quality . Even with the V6 great overall performance , added K& N air filter to let it breath better . We got 22mpg at @ 78 mph to Charleston SC. on vaction. The dealership was the best Hennessey Porsche in Alpharetta GA , see John Dissen to get a great deal . The service Dept is awesome and they spent like way over an hr explaining everything to us. We love our Porsche SUV and we always get comments and thumbs up when we drive it. Truth in Advertising Porsche ' There is no substitute' . .Utility, and Speed with Sports Car Handling
Pros: Great acceleration and Porsche sports car handling
Cons: Cargo space is smaller than I wish
After 2 1/2 years with my Cayenne S, I appreciate it more and more for what it is....a sports car with room to haul. Performance and handling continue to amaze and it is a perfect long distance cruiser. The suspension eats up the road and after a 5 hour drive, I am ready for 5 more. Creature comforts are all there, including XM, a slick and easy to use Nav system, but the lack of factory Bluetooth connectivity is a disappointment. Overall, this is a great vehicle and probably the best I have ever owned. Maintenance, by the way, has been almost non-existent...every 12K miles.PERFECT VEHICLE
Pros: manual trans, + sport mode!
Cons: lack of factory blue tooth and i-pod integration
2008 Porsche Cayenne GTS Ordered it with panoramic roof and a manual trans. This car is fast, comfortable and very utilitarian. We have been off-roading, canyon cruising, and auto crossing. We have loaded a dresser in the back and a charcoal grill. This car does it all!!!
