Pros: Back seat
Cons: Nissmo sticker (but I don't like stickers)
Advice: Drive them all you'll buy this oneVery smooth, drives much larger than it is with outstanding power. Great room inside. The Back seat in this truck really sets it apart from it's competitors. Other turcks act like the back seat flexibility was a after thought. Nissan did it right, the back seat folds up and down allowing storage when not being used for passengers and the split of the back seat allows both at the same time. This was the best truck for my need and I looked at all of them, for months.
Pros: Comfy Interior
Cons: SSV on the radio....until I disabled it (it's a Nissan thing)
Advice: Consider the 'Big Tow' package...even if you dont tow, the mirrors are very helpful for that blind spot! When you enjoy driving your car every day, it says something..the ratings mean very little to me, as they are not accurate to my belief..such is my everyday with my 2004 King Cab SE..Here is a different reason to like this truck besides the comfort, power and sleek appearance.. With my wife and 2 year old daughter in the car, I was rear ended by a Chevy Venture minivan that did not even brake. The entire force of the van was taken by the truck. While we felt a 'big boom' as my daughter calls it, we were all safe. Safety is an important factor, and I was very impressed with the way the truck took it..in case you are wondering, the actual damage caused was to the tow hitch and frame only, it was almost not visible. The entire frame was replaced, fortunately by a professional who was quite meticulous. Nearly a year later, I still drive it daily.
Pros: 265 hp 4.0 litre engine, Great acceleration into fast moving traffic!
Cons: Heavy Tailgate
Advice: Drive all the others like I did and then decide what your needs are.Peppy engine and great braking power.
Pros: V6 265HP
Cons: Interstate handling
Advice: Drive a good bit to see if its right for you before buyingThis truck/sports car is so fun to drive. I will need to get a loan to pay for the extra gas I use when I put my foot down on the gas! The look and feel is great. The sound I get while shifting through all six gears reminds me more of a sweet european sports car rather than a big truck, which is fine by me. Around town and on the back roads driving is great, however on the interstate alot more attenchion is needed than should be for any auto. The SE is nicely appointed and I got the power package with limited slip, which is the right amout of bells and whistles for me and my family
Cons: could use a little more nice trim on the dash-interior
Advice: Only competitor is Toyota - don't bother with the rest.Ottawa, Ontario - Bought a '06 Crew LE in Dec 05. Roomy, solid, tight, great performance and power. Perfect for the urban dwellers who need a bit more than a van. My 2 adult kids (both 6'+) were able to endure a 2 hr trip to Montreal w/o complaining too much so small kids have tons of room in the back. Nissan got it right this time and it's obviously a seller since there are no incentive deals for this truck. Toyota beware! GM, Chrysler, Ford - not even in the same ballpark. Honda is a different breed of truck. Only neg. Climate control switches are a little cheap. Gas tank door is a little flimsy. Full time 4x4 would be a nice option.
Pros: Power, Looks
Cons: Gray interior, no choice of leather, sound system dials too complicated to change while driving,
Advice: Get it!Be sure to test drive this truck before you buy Ford, GM, Dodge. My 2005 Titan is fantastic! Pulls my 26' fifth wheel trailer easily and smoothly with plenty of power for mountains and passing. Very comfortable, responsive, excellant quality at an unbelievably low price.
Pros: Dual power/heated leather seats
Cons: There are no automatic door locks after drive off
Advice: Full size power in a midsize truckNice ride for a truck feels like a car. Lots of room inside and not much road noise. The upgrade in engine horsepower gives it plenty of get up and go. The master lock out door switch could be redesigned in which the master control does not lock all other doors from the drivers control door also. Have to watch the rear window controls, normal resting on the arm rest has your hand just in the right place to lower the windows before you know it.
