Pros: Power Sliding door and power gate
Cons: Not available for 8 seats
Advice: Make sure you like the car style
1. The 3.5L V6 engine is powerful. 2. Better acceleration than Toyota Sienna and Honda Odyssey. 3. Smooth ride in high speed 4. Computer console 5. folding seatsPros: Style and handling
Cons: Folding seats are difficult to fold and set back upright.
Advice: I wouls still buy this van
I had 4 recalls and my experience was favorable with Dealer and fixes made. Great riding with easy driving effort. No noise with mine.Pros: it is unbelievably roomy.
Cons: don't have any dislikes yet.
Advice: go for it. it is a great vehicle
Test drive was great. This is a powerful vehicle that has no problems taking off or accelerating. It doesn't drive like a minivan. I have had it for two months now and i am about to hit the 3000 mark. No problems so far.Pros: the sliding doors great for kids and back up sensor
Cons: sliding doors, they don't stop until they have already crushed you bad for kids
Advice: dont, to many problems
after testing all other vans, i liked the drive of the Quest best. The interior space can not be beat. But the constant door rattleing is a pain, I have problems with the sunroof not working, the seam is starting to leak by the driver side door, and the doors don't stop until they already have crushed you or your children!Pros: Remote open on the sliding door and rear hatch
Cons: Slicing through my finger while trying to fold the middle seats down!
Advice: Beware the safety of folding the seats down!
We loved our new Quest until I was folding the middle seats down and got my finger caught in the folding mechanism - BEWARE! On the NHTSA site I saw someone lost their finger because of this - I just lost my nail and have permanent nerve damage - Nissan denies all responsibility. We loved the safety features for our two small children, plus the cargo capacity, but now we are fearful of our own safety. This soured us on the van, although we have been satisfied with it otherwise.Pros: Style, room and ride.
Cons: Nissan, don't be so cheap, make both side doors power. The drivers side passenger door isn't power and that's the one the driver uses most. Had to complain about something
Advice: Don't buy a minivan until you drive the Quest. It's different, a very good different!
Don't have ANY rattles or problems in the first 1,100 miles of use. This car was built in late September '04 so perhaps some of the rattle issues were on earlier production runs and corrected by this fall. Only negative is getting used to turning and parking in right spaces. It rides great partly because of the long wheelbase which get even with you in a parking lot.Pros: seating
Cons: being inconvenienced for days at a time without a vehicle
Advice: go with another manufacturer
We are extremely disappointed with the quality of our Quest. Have had many problems: 1. faulty air bag had to be replaced which involved the whole ceiling being taken out- it has never been the same. Buttons for the rear entertainment look like they are falling out. 2. the continous rattling noises 3. the back of the front passenger seat keeps falling off 4. tire pressure indicator and signal had been going off- we had to pay $40 b/c it seems that when tire pressure is not exactly the same the unit needs to be reset by Nissan- imagine that! Having to pay $40 each time that happens! 5. continous rotten egg smell- probably something with the catalytic converter, too...
