Great balance of comfort, handling and performance. This car is very fast and fun yet it is also an excellent, comfortable, cruiser. Bonus...Its classic good looks will not become dated any time soon.

    2004 Mercedes-Benz E-Class - E 320 RWD Sedan

    Pros: everything

    Cons: none

Advice: test drive the BMW or Audi before first before you commit

this car is very under powered compared with the BMW 530i or 530d. Though it has a higher engine capacity but still lacking in power. check out the 5 series before buying it then you will know what im talkin' about. BMW's is far far better deal.

    2005 Mercedes-Benz E-Class - E 320 CDI RWD Sedan

    Pros: Fuel economy/power combination

Cons: I'm rather large and would like a little more room, even though for its size its very good.

Advice: Standard seats and suspension are just fine in comfort and handling. Get the panoramic roof - its fantastic and not much more than the regular sun roof.

Mine is the new E320 CDI. It offers the best of all worlds other than its price. You get what you pay for, with refinement I've not experienced in any car before. The diesel engine is a dream. I've gotten 30.0 mpg overall so far (after 10,500 miles), and that is with cruising at 75 mph and around town! My wife can get 35 mpg out of it. A typical long trip gets me 32.5 mpg. and its getting better as the car 'breaks in.' The car is quiet and goes over large road dips better than any other European car in this price range. The air conditioning system is excellent; it even has a humidity sensor and adjusts that!

    2004 Mercedes-Benz E-Class - RWD Sedan

Pros: The air adjustable, active electronic suspension is amazing.

Cons: Why do all V8 sedans get such poor fuel economy?

    Advice: Buy the Benz

Outstanding!!! This may be the best looking sedan ever built. This one has it all, luxury, performance, styling, comfort. If you have the means this is the one. It may be expensive but worth every penny. When you see the level of equipment in this car you might even consider it a bargain. Compared to BMW and Audi you get more for the same price. The BMW 545 is junk in comparison, it has far less refinement and luxury.

    2002 Mercedes-Benz E-Class - Base E 320 RWD Sedan

    Pros: Solidity of construction

    Cons: Premium price

Advice: Covet that which others do not.

Compared to the BMWs, Porsches and Alfas I've driven over the years, this car compares very favorably. With respect to comparable sedans such as 3, 5 and 7 Series Bimmers and the Alfa 156 and 166, this car is more comfortable as it rides like a cloud yet handles with great agility. Tack on excellent quality of construction along with top reputation for safety, you have a winner. There's also a special feeling you get behind the wheel with the three-pointed Mercedes star leading the way in front of you. By the way, every BMW I've owned has had defects right out of the box. This Mercedes has been flawless.

    2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class - E 320 RWD Sedan

Pros: Hard to pick only one but I would say the overall feel of the vehicle.

Cons: Hard to find anything I don't like but the trunk is a little too aggressive when opening. Not a big deal.

Advice: BUY IT. It's definately worth the dollars.

I have owned various Mercedes-Benz models since 1986 and I can honestly say without hesitation the 2003 320E is the finest of them all. The handling is superb. It is very quite and looks like it should cost far more than it does. It's what a Mercedes is all about.

    2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class - Base

    Pros: Styling

Cons: the fell of the 'brake by wire' brake pedal

Advice: Don't let the price disuade you. The way you feel driving a Mercedes has no comparision.

Suspension, acceleration and styling are wonderful.
