Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
Performance: quick/fast pick up. Handles like a sports car, responsive steering, tight turning radius..no 'top heavy' feeling of a sense of an eminent roll-over...as felt in many/most SUV's. Very quiet, NO road noise, comfortable seating...makes for easy enjoyable drive. My previous car-a Lincoln 5.0L v8, 17mpg town, 25 hwy. This Aviator has same 'improved' engine. Only Disappointment: even using Lucas Oil, premium+octane booster. STILL: 11.4 mpg..town, hwy, uphill, or downhill consistently!

Pros: Navigation
Cons: Everything
Lots of problems. Every review I have read says the samething. At about 60k miles they start to mess up. Loss of power brake lights come on. Not very satisfiedsecond best vehicle ever
Pros: looks
Cons: mileage
mileage could be a little betterPros: Smooth ride
Cons: Expensive to get repaired.
Advice: Get the extended warranty
Whining sound in rear also noticed. I took it to the dealer to get if fixed twice. They first thought it was a factory part that should have been removed, rubbing against my wheels. The problem went away when they did something to the my tires. I think it had something to do with my breaks or roters. It was covered under my warranty.Pros: The POWER
Cons: The power seats should have power recline
Advice: Better warranty (4yr 80,000 km) than Ford or GM'
Planned on buying a Ford Explorer but fell in love with the Lincoln. Has more power, comfort and ride than the Ford.Pros: take off
