Pros: definetly the looks..one of the coolest, sexiest cars on the planet today..
Cons: dashboard and the cool blue lighty..prefer red...
Advice: if you want a decent coupe to fall in love with and dont mind this beauty is called hyundai..go for it!good handling..great breaks..engine power not enough for the looks...
Pros: Stereo system, gas milage & moon roof.
Cons: The window wiper in the rear vehicle has been removed.
Advice: Its a great vehicle but dont buy this vehicle if you have children. This is my 2ND Hyundai TIBURON and I love the new updates that it has on it!! I had a 2003 & the 2006's are so much greater. I has good speed and is good on gas. I like that it has a 6 cd player & an updated music system with a subwoofer & speaker rock. I would not recommend this vehicle to someone who has children. The back seats are small. I love the leather seats too!! Great, GREAT!!
Pros: Oh the overall look of the car for sure..plus the warranty
Cons: The low head room and microscopic back seat...but who cares!?!
Advice: This is a lot of car, and an excellent car, for about $300 a month..perfect for sports car starters like myself!I own the V6 GT Limited. It is a beautiful car and turns heads and gets people jealous! The car rides very nicely. The high performace tires provide for an (expected) bumpier ride. In snow it performs rather poorly. The gas mileage is mediocre at best. Blind spots are not the best, but unavoidable in sportier cars, so it's not too bad. The back seat is almost non-existent, but the hatch provides more room (plus fold-down seats). The turning radius is mediocre. Controls are easy-to-see and easy to control. Acceleration is good. Bucket seats are comfy! There isn't much head room, especially if you have a sun roof. Defrosting/defogging has been good so far. The warranty is why I never seriously considered another car, but I fell in love with the Tiburon before I even knew that.
Pros: the automatic-standard shift
Cons: small backseat
Advice: Stick with Hondas and Toyotas. Stay away from Hyundais.I bought my 2004 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6 brand new for my 21st birthday in September 2004. 2 weeks after I bought it, the power windows went out. Took it to service, the master switch had gone bad. 6 months later, same scenario. This time it was the regulator. 7 months later, I was on my way home and I saw the airbag light had come on. Took it back to service. After that, the windows started acting up again, going up and down whenever they felt like it. Then, I sold the car and bought a used 2000 Saturn SL1 because this sports car was killing me financially. So far, not a day of trouble. It's sad when a used car does better than a brand new one. Now, I'm back on my feet financially and am buying a 2006 Honda Civic coupe very soon. Another thing about the Tiburon I will tell you is if you are looking for a comfortable ride, this is not the car for you. The seats hurt my back. Also, you will have a hard time driving comfortably of you are either short like me or very tall. And the gas mileage is terrible if you travel often like me.
Pros: The overall driving experience.
Cons: Stereo and wiper lever placement.
Advice: Don't waste $800 on the rust inhibitor/interior protectant/paint sealant.Fast pickup, responsive steering, average road noise for sporty car, comfortable seats with great lumbar support, great dashboard/control cluster, large hatchback space, practically no rear seat space (nowhere near enough for two adults with two children, but that's a given for this type of car), average- though not poor- gas mileage, I'm constantly knocking the wiper lever which turns the wipers on accidentally, nice power windows. Standard stereo system sounds kind of boxy. I have the dark metallic blue model, and it looks spectacular. I was impressed when I test drove it, and I'm even much more impressed after buying it two weeks ago. I wouldn't pay more than $20k for a top model. Overall I love this car.
Pros: This is a true, balanced, and amazing sports car.
Advice: Drive it. You'll love it and realise there is nothing else like it.I have an '05 GT v6 that I've owned since Oct of 05. This is the most exciting, alluring, and entertaining car I've ever owned. I took it to the coast today, which means driving through the mountains (in OR, in case you are wondering). I was continually 20 miles above the speed limit through some really curvey roads. I could have gone faster. This car is the most well-behaved, predictabe, and enjoyable car I've ever been in. The handling is precise, the cornering is crisp and controlled, the braking is way above average. For the price you pay, you get a true sports car at a price that is thousands less than anything else on the road that could possibly hope to keep up. Plus, it simply looks magnificent. I cannot and have not recommended anything as highly as I do the Tiburon.
Pros: The way the car sounds, begs to be driven
Cons: Poor gas mileage, or was that just my foot to far in the peddle?
Advice: Get the V6 for sure. 17inch rims and High spoiler are also worth paying for. Looks betterLots of low end torque. I love the 6 speed, it brings the most out of the 2.7L V6. Car and engine have true potential for alot of fast and fun times. Brakes work well. Hits redline in third gear at 86mph with 3 gears to go. Alittle wimpy on the stock Hp but money and time can fix that. Its no slouch stock though.
