Pros: All over
Cons: Road noise
Advice: Buy it!!
I purchased a 2008 Azera Limited with a little over 11,000 miles. It must be the best kept secret in cars today! What a car for the money. Luxury, convience, style, and performance, with a combination of over 20 MPG. city & highway. A touch more road noise than I would like, but other than that, perfect! It is a 2008 Used AZERA, not 2010Pros: Smooth flow of power
Cons: Dunlop Tires to much road feel and balance problems
Advice: read all the customer reviews on WWW
After 1500 miles the transmission started having abnormal metallic slapping and clunking noises. The dealer and the factory tech do not know whats wrong. They road tested a new car and told me this is normal for rear drive cars.No other opinions allowed. After four return visits I found out what they already knew and where not truthful about. There are no parts or adjustments for this problem.HYUNDAI factory customer service means absolutely nothing even when you do every thing they ask.THIS has been a BIG MISTAKE.This was to be my retirement car.Trading after just two months I would loose$8000.HYUNDAI has made me and my GENSIS AN ORPHAN.Pros: The back up camera in the Tech Package
Cons: no coin holder
Advice: Just take a test drive and compare it to a Lexus, Infiniti or BMW
I was looking for a sedan with some luxury features. So Infiniti, Lexus & BMW were on my list, never a Hyundai. Well, after winning North American Car of the Year, the Genesis got my attention. This car drives like a dream. I know there have been criticism on the suspension, but I haven't found this to be a problem. This car has all the luxury features you would want at a cost of thousands less than the other models I was considering.Pros: engine
Cons: not enough time behind the wheel
Advice: really check out the competition closely and this car will only look better
This is an excellent car. Fit and finish are world class, controls are well placed and easy to use once learned. Engine is a marvel of engineering for it power and economy. You don't even smell any exhaust before the car warms up it so well designed. At speed the car feels solid and very planted and secure. The cabin is airy and quiet with great visibility outside using mirrors or a quick glance. This car is very large, very close dimensionally to Mercedes 600 class interior/exterior dimensions, but a little shorter. You feel very safe behind the wheel. Brakes are very good, the best I have experienced in any car with over 30 years driving different makes. If you’re looking for a sedan with world class features, fit, finish, performance, at a price that is unbeatable, this is your car.Pros: Overall comfort
Cons: Nothing
Advice: Do not be afraid to take the leap
Traded in a 2005 Honda Accord. It was a great car and was concerned that the Azera would not live up to that standard. Well, I am pleased to report it has done that and more so far. The Azera is a real pleasure to drive. It is even better in severe crosswinds than my other car which is a Mustang GT. If it holds up long term like the Accord, I will more than likely buy another Azera when it is time. Extremely nice car for the money.Pros: The smooth powerful engine.
Cons: The ashtray and the switches for the heated seat need to change places.
Advice: Everyone likes this vehicle.
This car got me out of the crown victoria which I did not think was possible. It does not ride as smooth as a vic but a wonderful car to drive and ride. The interior room is comparable to a vic and the handling is much better.Pros: Comfort, power, styling, auto climate control, braking, steering.
Cons: A little noisy over rough surfaces. Cup holder design. Mileage
Advice: Check it out!
Just bought an '06 Limited used with 25K miles. Real nice car! Great acceleration and am getting average 19mpg combined hwy/local driving (onboard computer checks accurately against actual usage). Nice ride very quiet inside, though car sounds and feels noisier over multiple bumps than my wife's Accord does (will update after taking it to local dealer). Very spacious and comfortable for long drives. Handles real well and competently though it's no sports car. Fit and finish above average with lots of attentive touches, although the metal covering between the shifter and armrest is a bit cheesy. One rather odd thing is the design of the springs in the front cup holders; if your container has any kind of protruding edge on the bottom it'll catch when you lift it up, potentially spilling it's contents. FYI, if you have a Sirius Replay the head unit it fits real nicely inside the dashboard storage cubby but running the wires was a challenge. Also appreciate the cruise and radio controls on the steering wheel (love that mute paddle). The A/C is fast and cold. Overall, you get a lot for the money!
