Hyundai Genesis -- My Favorite Car Ever

I have owned our 2009 Hyundai Genesis for a bit over 2 years, since purchasing the first one sold in DeKalb County, IL in early July 2008. We have the V6 with the Premium package. To date, it has 30,150 miles and has been 100% trouble-free. The average fuel mileage to date is 24.6 mpg; with a range of 18.1 to 31.2 per fill-up since purchase. It is by far the most comfortable, best handling, and most spacious car I've owned since my 1975 Pontiac Grand Safari station wagon. Passengers in the rear seat frequently comment on how comfortable both the seats and the ride are; many saying that the rear seat of my car is more comfortable than the front of theirs. Performance is outstanding. My wife refers to the car as the 'red rocket'. During a recent vacation, it quietly cruised the 4-lane highways of central TX at an easy 80 - 85 mph. We averaged 29.8 mpg for the entire trip, including considerable local driving along the Texas gulf coast. Having ridden & driven Mercedes, Lexuses, BMWs, and Infinitis, I can honestly say that to get an equal driving experience with those brands requires at least an additional $15 - $20 thousand investment. The Genesis is by far the nicest vehicle I have ever owned.- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes

Excellent vehicle for the money.
Pros: The advanced cruise control system.

My Genesis is the 4.6 V8 model which I've owned for about 7 months. Car is attractive, the quality is excellent, great interior space, and performance is good. Burning regular fuel I'm getting 20mpg in town and 25 on the road. Only complaint is the ride is a little harsher than I expected. To me it's not objectionable, but it is taunt over a rough road. Other than that, it's perfect my needs.- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes
