rattle rattle ping ping
Pros: 36+mpg -sync
Cons: rattles
It has spend a lot of time being tweeked - way too many rattles.Pros: I like all the features, from steering wheel controls, heated seats, climate control, etc.
Cons: The Driver seat for my husbund, who is 6 ft 4 in., there is not enough leg room compared to the passenger side.
Advice: The quality of the interior, features and the looks are a big plus compared to other vans.
I love my 2007 Hyundai Entourage van that I bought in June 2006, but lately I am getting discouraged as it has left me stranded a few times. After 11 months it began giving me trouble starting. After a few inspections at the dealer, the code P1693 was diagnosed, and Hyundai replaced the antenna unit and reprogrammed the keys. Now the van is 18 months old, and as I was driving on the highway, the van starting tugging, running very rough and the engine light came on. I needed to get the van towed, with the help of roadside assistance which was N/C. A scanner check found trouble code P0300 & P0110, and the computer was reprogrammed with no explanation what caused this. Since then I have encountered a few times where the van ran rough, with a tugging, misfire feeling for a few seconds. Hyundai needs to resolve the error codes better, either by replacing or fixing the problem - not to reset the computer! I hope Hyundai can resolve quickly, otherwise I will have to trade this in before the warranty expires.Pros: Performance, comfort, quality, 'bells and whistles'
Cons: nothing so far
Advice: Many reviews are misleading about bad MPG, I'm getting 20+ in blended driving
The Hyundai Entourage Limited with Luxury Package is the nicest vehicle in this category you can get for the money! It's 10 grand less than a similarly loaded Odyssey and beats the Honda in many areas, not the least of which is quality control. I've had lots of Honda models and never thought I'd own another brand until I drove this van. This South Korean company is shaking up the auto world!Pros: very roomy
Cons: none
Advice: same van as others but priced less. good value
there is alot of room ot have kids and stuff all the time. very powerful and a smooth ride. gauges are easy to read and everything within drivers reach. the multi zone climate is great so everyone is comfortable.Pros: 3 zone climate control, power windows and sliding doors.
Cons: I am 6'2', could use a little more driver's leg room.
Advice: Haggle!
Smooth ride have 600 KMS on the van so far. Smooth and powerful... very roomy. Great looks and great price. Looked into the Honda and Toyota, but value for bucks, chose Entourage. Still have some hesitation over quality due to the history of the company, but took the plunge. Very nice fit and finish, clean and ergonomic. Easy guages and layout. BIG!Pros: great motor and brakes are excellent great control and safe van
Cons: see above
Advice: no leaks probably no problems
I purchased the entourage in July. Have 3000 miles on it and has been to two dealers for overheating and towed both times. Has been in dealer a total of five times for either leaks or overheating and a new radiator. I have contacted Hyundai customer assistance center and looks like they are passing the buck. However the warranty has covered the repairs I had to rent a car for 6 days and drive to the dealers 500 miles of the 3000 total. The color is red and they don't come in yellow yet.
