Best Vehicle Ever
Pros: Ability to roll down window with key fob!
Cons: 5 speed automatic instead of 6 speedI would have rather had a 6 speed automatic instead of the 5 speed automatic. I believe it would have allowed the engine to operate at lower RPM resulting in better MPG and longer engine life. I frequently get 29-30 MPG on the highway. GREAT CAR AND VALUE!!!!!
Pros: Handling and Power
Cons: Noise and inaccuracy of the transmission.Noisiest car I ever drove. Road noise, small squeaks, buzzes and rattles are very annoying. Although it has a very nice interior and comfort features, the noise factor makes this car not enjoyable to drive.
Pros: Navigation system
Cons: NothingI recently purchased an EX-L V6 sedan w/navigation system--better described as a computer on wheels--and am really enjoying everything about it. I look forward to taking it out on the road every day, even when I don't really need to go anywhere! I'm a Toyota Camry convert and this is my first Honda. Without question, the Accord is the best car I've ever owned. Initially, I had misgivings about the V6's Variable Cylinder Management (VCM), given earlier Internet reviews, but have come to believe that Honda engineers know what they're doing, and know far more than the average consumer. Any physical sensations resulting from transitions in the number of active cylinders are minimal, and are far less noticeable than the transitions that occur in almost any vehicle's automatic transmission. The net effect is that acceleration at any speed is terrific. This is a well-designed car that anyone should be proud to drive.
Cons: NothingI really love my Honda Accord EX-L. I've had a lot of pleasure driving this car. When I was in the market looking for a car I felt as thought Honda was giving me a lot for the money. The company reputation for building repliable, dependable, and stylish cars meant a lot to me. I've recommend this brand to everybody I know.
The 6 cyl coupe !!!!
Pros: running on just 3 cyl during highway driving!! with a 6 cyl engine!!
Cons: The only thing keeping this car from being awesome, no manual sport mode in the automatic..I've never really been interested in a Honda before, kind of fuddy duddy if you ask me, then I saw the new accord coupe in early 08', i fell in love. Everyone i know seems to love the new agressive sporty look, and loaded with the 6 cyl makes it plenty fun to drive. Two years into it, its holding up like a champ, and I live to drive cars into the ground!!!
Great car but....
Pros: Acceleration, bluetooth and Navigation
Cons: Road noiseNew 2009 Accord EXL V6 with Nav. Engine is smooth and powerful. Great acceleration at all speeds, and good handling but not quite as good as previously owned '02 C320. 16K miles without the hint of a problem. Good gas mileage especially on highway (28-29 MPG) Biggest downside of this car is the noise on the highway. Honda could have invested more in sound-proofing this vehicle.
Cons: air conditioningThe best Accord I ever owned. This is #3.
