A Contender
Pros: suspension *smooth*
Cons: too low to the ground, could be higher
All cross overs have bugs to iron out, but in the long run, the comfort, economics, safety and style makes the GMC Terrain a pleasure to drive and an investment to enjoy. One of the best vehicles I've ever owned.
Pros: The overall look of vehicle.
Cons: At the moment, nothing
I traded a 2004 GMC Yukon in for this vehicle and have never looked back. It gets great gas milleage, It's a smaller vehicle, but you don't give up that much when it comes riding comfort. I just took a trip to North Carolina. I rode in the back seat all the way down and back, with the adjustable back seat I was very comfortable. I'm 6' 2' tall 225 lbs.I really like it!
Pros: Extras!
Cons: Lost Dash lights and radio lights during daytime.
This is my third SUV, and I like it the best!Great vehicle except for the seats
Pros: Good gas mileage and quiet and comfortable ride.
Cons: The seats are to deeply contoured and 'ergonomic'.
Have the 2.4 four cylinder. Gets about 21 mpg around town. We've never gotten more than about 28 on the highway. Very comfortable and quiet cruiser for around Dallas. The 4 has plenty of power. Only notice its not a 6 when we merge onto the highway, but it still gets you there quickly enough. The seats are a personal preference thing. They are very contoured and 'ergonomic'. I have to really fiddle with them to get a comfortable position, but my wife loves them. Overall, the perfect little vehicle for some utility and cruising around town or anywhere for that matter. One of the best I have had
Pros: Ambient lighting
Cons: The overall styling
We have had our 2010 Terrain since March and are very pleased with it overall performance. The interior is very comfortable and stylist. It fells like you are in a very more luxury vehicle. We love the ambient lighting with make the interior a warm glow. The computer menu lists every feature we want and again, feels like a more costly vehicle. A very nice package.Pros: Standard USB & camera -
Cons: Ticking noise from under the hood & the location of the USB port.
Advice: Take it for a spin - the $$ is right for a new vehicle with the options and the gas mileage is a great plus!
Great vehicle for the price. Love the look, the power the 4cyl has and the comfort for all passengers.Pros: The sturdy look about it
Cons: The price
Advice: shop around
For a vehicle company that was in bankruptcy a few short months ago, I find it disturbing that the incentives are missing. The price of the Terrain is a bit high for the size. The 0% is offered for inventory that GM can't sell. With all the down sizing GM has done over the past couple of years, they are doing very little to bring back customers. In my 50 years of driving, I have never, I repeat never owned anything but GM vehicles, but now I am shopping around looking at other vehicles, and believe me, it hurts, having been brought up in a GM family.C'mom GM,do the right thing, and bring the customers back.(I want to stay, but show me something with incentives)
