I love my Expedition so much that next year when I get a new car, it will likely be another Expedition.
We traded this truck in for a later model. We should have kept it! What a solid vehicle. Although the look was a bit long-in-the-tooth at the time, I like it's rugged, truck-like appearance. It is a solid truck/SUV with a lot of body panel strength and solid doors. The third row seat is very heavy and should be taken out by two people only. All features worked as designed and no frequent failures occurred.
Not at all impressed with the fit and finish of this car. Multiple failed window regulators, and leaking factory sunroof. Maybe it was an issue since this was a first year model.
I love the space in this vehicle.
Great ride especially for long trips
Pros: comfort, handling, it is still very tight just like it was new
Cons: gas mileage
As our kids were growing up an into all sports, this auto was excellent for traveling to tournemnets and sporting events. The auto fold third row seats were perfect for extra kids or for extra gear. The DVD player kept their attention on long trips so we did not hear 'are we there yet'Pros: Comfort
This vehicle has been a part of the family. It has never let me down.Best Vehichle I Have Ever Owned!
Pros: the lock code on the door, just hang on to the card and you can lock everything in and not worry.
Cons: Gas milage was the only downfall.
My Expedition made me feel safer when my children started driving, to know they were safe. With the third row of seats and a bench seat up front, we had room for all of our kids and we could pull the boat. Plus if you don't need it, fold 3rd row and the visibility is even better out the back.
