it is a good starter car but it tends to need alot more care than some cars. I would recommend this car for a couple or a family with older children. I Love My Stratus!

This was a Mormon fleet vehicle I bought used and it has exceeded every expectation I ever had about a Dodge. The gas mileage is incredible, 35 mpg on trips, 25 city! It has survived two accidents with wildlife, one a 1 ton bull on the windshield & recovered completely. It is roomy & more than comfortable, even on long trips, 4 people plus luggage. The AC is incredible, even in the AZ heat, altho I did super tint all the windows. It has been over some very rough dirt roads but cleans up like new. Lots of power for a four cylinder! I wish it had cruise control but I love all the power accessories. Battery hidden in the wheel well very inconvenient & I had to upgrade the headlights. Otherwise, a miracle car!- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes
