2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser - GT

    Pros: The convertible top!!

Cons: Somewhat difficult to reach the gas pedal for short-legged people

Advice: If you've wanted a convertible without the huge price tag

After driving mini-vans for many years and nearing retirement, I was ready for a fun vehicle, and this is it!!! I call it my 'happy car' because the minute I or any of my friends get in it, an instant smile spreads across our faces. Crank up the 6-CD changer, and it just doesn't get much better!! I'm loving the power, too! It climbs those NH mountains with no problem. The graphite body and black top make for an elegant look. Every day people stop to admire the vehicle and wish me well. I love it!!!!!

2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser - GT

    Pros: Top down family fun

Cons: Long doors make tight parking spots a challange (especially with kids in the back)

    Advice: have fun

OK, I've been driving my tan-on-graphite top down PT GT for over a month now and I'm loving it! Put the kids in the back and hit PCH and you have all the makings for a great summer afternoon cruise. I have now had more heads turned and 'thumbs up' comments than I ever received in my '63 MGB. It has better get-up-and-go than my Audi A6 did and for a solid rear axel rides pretty flat. It may not be the best for daily hauls up and down the freeway, but for my 2.5 mile coastal commute it's perfect. I was looking for a 'fun in the sun' vehicle that worked with my family and didn't cost over $40K (ala BMW, Audi, Saab and Volvo). This car fit the bill and then some.

2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser - Touring

Pros: I love everything about it

Cons: I loved everything about it and still do.

Advice: If you are looking for a car that performs well and is so much fun, this is for you!!

I just bought this car and I really love it! I have 2 kids, and we don't have any trouble getting them in the back. One is in a booster seat, but even that fits fine and does not take up too much room for my other child to be comfortable. They both have plenty of leg room too. This car is fun and gets up and goes plenty! The top goes up in seconds and is still fun to drive that way. The trunk was an adjustment after having an SUV, but it still fits our two big suitcases, and if I am alone I can fold down the backseats for extra space.

2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser - Touring

    Pros: The convertible

Cons: Hard to get into the back seat. Wish the front seat automatically slid forward

Advice: If you have small ones riding in the back, it takes alot to get them in and strapped down

I didn't realize this car had a turbo engine. It has enough pick up and go for what I need. I love it.

2002 Chrysler Town and Country - LX AWD

    Pros: Power right door

Cons: No memory on the power seat and mirrors settings

Advice: Get the biggest motor and the 16 inch wheels

Nice driving vehicle but could use the bigger motor for better get up and go. Also get the bigger wheels and tires. I have the 15 inch wheels and they squeel at the slightest hint of a fast start.

2003 Chrysler Town and Country - LXi FWD

Pros: Power doors and rear hatch

    Cons: Middle seats don't move

Advice: Test drive all your options, pick the one you like, and get an extended warranty for all the bells and whistles.

Test drove an Odyssey, Sienna and a T&C. Liked the ride and features of the T&C the best. Previously owned a 1996 Grand Caravan which had some reliability issues, but nothing major. I used the money I saved over the Honda and Toyota to buy a 100,000 mile extended warranty to ease my conscience. After a few thousand miles, I can still say the T&C was the right choice for me. I never thought I'd actually LIKE driving a minivan.

2003 Chrysler Town and Country - LXi AWD

Pros: The size of the area inside the car

    Cons: The quality or reliability

    Advice: Do not buy

This is, by far, the worst car we have ever purchased. Beginning at 13 months and continuing through the 4 years that we have had our T&C we have had to replace breaks 3 times, our air conditioner went out right at 36,000 miles, we've had speed sensors go bad (one while we were traveling on vacation) and now we have leaks. We have never had problems with any other car we own and we take our cars for all recommended services. We have been unable to drive it long distances for the last year for fear it will break down again.
