Pros: location of everything
Cons: rough on bumps
Advice: you get what you pay for
Car handles well in normal driving conditions. Good take off when you put your foot to the floor, but lacks signifigant power if you have the AC on.Pros: The sleek look & speakers
Cons: no sunroof...other than that, it's a GREAT car!
Advice: Test drive one and you'll see what I'm talking about!
This car is great, as long as you take care of it like a baby it'll be a well worth purchase. Cheap car, great ride! I've had this car for over 3 years and have been driving it everywhere, so far I haven't had one problem with it, except for a flat tire due to a nail. I've driven other people's cars and I've noticed that the Cavalier has some great brakes! You don't have to slam your foot on the breaks to stop the car, it's very responsive. I like that!Pros: Theater style lighting
Cons: no dislikes
Advice: what are you waiting for? Your new ride awaits!
If you need a car and cannot afford the higher priced vehicles, you really should look into the Cavalier. The power produced from it's 4 cylinder engine meets or exceeds all other 4 cylinder engines used. Performance in class was superior and safety ratings were also. Fuel mileage was excellent. Who says you can't have fun in a smaller 4 banger?Pros: stereo?
Cons: Cosmetically-who thought of putting those AC controls there?
Advice: Turn right back around...the car you have now or even you bicycle is better!
Everything SEEMED great. I've had this car in the garage for repairs more than I've had stops at the gas pump to fill it up. The cars rack & pinion is going out. It doesn't turn right, if you have the brakes on. It doesn't shift into 2nd gear. The CV joints need to be replaced. It has had a constant 'popping' noise since the 1st month I had it. Chevy says 'yup, there is a noise, but we don't know what it is so; must not cause a driving problem'. I've had the alternator replaced 4 times, the A.C. compressor replaced 2 times. The brake light comes on for no apparent reason. It overheats almost weekly, but again...no problem. It's the worse car anyone could ever own. I have owned several Chevys, but never again..Pros: Rear end of the car, The color I bought...Blue
Cons: I like it ALL!
Advice: If you want a great car for less money, then choose the cavalier!
I bought the Cavalier LS Sport Coupe. I didn't get to test drive my car right away because I bought a manual and I didn't know how to drive it but when my boyfriend did he LOVED it! Not many guys like Cavaliers because they think it's a girlie car! But I love the car! It's a great car for less money! It's overall appearance is great!Pros: THE PERFORMANCE AND FUEL MILEAGE OF THE 2.2 4 CYLINDER ENGINE
Cons: A/C AND HEATER CONTROLS ARE IN A BAD PLACE
Advice: AN EXCELLENT CAR FOR THE MONEY
EXCELLENT GAS MILEAGE. DECENT HANDLING. A VERY PEPPY 2.2 LITRE 4 CYLINDER ENGINE. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS CRISPLY. A LITTLE HARD TO GET IN AND OUT OF, BUT TO ME THATS A MINOR PROBLEM. SEATS ARE COMFORTABLE AND NICELY DESIGNED. I LIKE THE OVERALL LOOKS OF THE INTERIOR AND THE BODY STYLE. THE TRUNK COULD BE A LITTLE BIGGER, BUT AGAIN, A VERY MINOR PROBLEM. STEREO SOUNDS GOOD AND IS EASY TO USE. AN EXCELLENT CAR FOR THE MONEY! I`VE HAD IT FOR ABOUT 4 MONTHS AND I LIKE IT MORE EVERY DAY! GO FOR IT! AND BEST OF ALL.....ITS A 'CHEVROLET'!Pros: acceleration but equaled in the Hyundai Elantra
Cons: leg room
Advice: Shop around
Just an update to my previous post... I've decided not to purchase the Cavalier after looking at the Hyundai Elantra. No comparison! The Elantra has more room, a better ride, is just as powerful, has a far better warranty, and is less money.
