Acura 2008 MDX
Pros: Ride and Looks
Cons: Back up cameraHad a lot of trouble with the navagation system. Had it replaced and seems to be alrite now. Navagation technolgy in the prmitive state in 2008. Back up camera just about useless. Forget it in bright sunlite.
Just the right size, not to small, not to big.
Pros: Smooth ride and handling
Cons: AC controls.More than adequate power , but I expected better mpg, 19.7 average.
Pros: Driver's seat/mirror/steering wheel memory
Cons: NothingI'd definitely buy this SUV again! Drives like a sports car, but has tons of room for seating grandchildren. Third row seats fold down, so you don't have to take them out to use the area for cargo.
very dependable, comfortable car.
Pros: comfort and roominess
Cons: gas mileageBest car I ever owned!
Best Vehicle Ever !!
Pros: Head room
Cons: NothingBest combination of power, looks, storage space, and good gas mileage in a vehicle that I have ever owned.
Not so sure
Pros: Seat comfort
Cons: Nav/phone is hard to figure out (might just be me); 3rd row seat and not much cargo room when up.Bought brand new 2009 MDX - needed luxury sport utility to seat 7 with fold down rear seat; didn't want V-8; didn't want non-local dealership, so that cancelled out Benz, BMW, Audi and Lexus. Not so sure if it's worth all the hype and the pricetag. Fan runs super loud; handling is fabulous - totally; comfort is awesome with plenty of leg room - and I'm tall; 3rd row seating is terrible and feels like a clostrophobic's nightmare; lots of little tics and noises when car warms up, when air is on, fan runs off and on constantly; just not sure if it's all that.
Pros: comfort and size
Cons: LOW gas mileage!
Advice: Beware of the low gas mileageI love everything about this car: the seating, the comfort, not too big, easy to drive, the 4wd, rear camera, etc. BUT THE MILEAGE IS HORRIBLE!! paying almost $5 bucks a gallon, and I get 13.4 mpg (Sticker says 17-23). Terrible. And the trip computer is inaccurate, telling me I get much more than I do. BIG disappointment. Now we're garaging it (it's fully paid for), taking it out for long trips, and buying a Bug to get around town.
