Nearing the end of the month there are still a healthy number of rebates and incentives available on new cars and new trucks.  Kicking things off this week is the 2013 Chevrolet Equinox compact SUV, which offers the choice between 2.9% financing or $1,500 in cash back.  Next up is the 2013 Chrysler Town & Country minivan and its available zero percent financing plus $1,000 cash back offer or $3,000 in total cash back.  The 2013 Fiat 500c subcompact convertible delivers 0.0% financing or $1,000 in factory cash rebates, while the 2013 Nissan Rogue compact crossover matches the Fiat's zero percent financing rate but ups the available cash back to $1,500.  The final vehicle on our list is the 2013 GMC Acadia full-size crossover, which also provides the choice between 0.0% financing or $1,500 in cash back.

One more week left in September means we are almost ready for a fresh batch of offers.  Check back with us next week to close out the month with the best bargains remaining on brand new vehicles.

2013 Chevrolet Equinox

The 2013 Chevrolet Equinox is a five-passenger compact SUV that also provides excellent cargo space to go with its generous interior room.  The Chevrolet Equinox can haul up to 63.7 cubic feet of gear with the rear seats folded forward.

Under the hood, the 2013 Chevrolet Equinox features a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine that is rated at 182 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque.  This unit, which is matched with a six-speed automatic transmission, returns fuel mileage of 22-mpg in city driving and 32-mpg on the highway.  A 301 horsepower, 3.6-liter V-6 engine is also available, and it generates 272 lb-ft of torque.  A six-speed autobox is again included with the larger motor, and all versions of the Equinox can be ordered with all-wheel drive.

There is an incentive of 2.9% financing or $1,500 cash back on the 2013 Chevrolet Equinox available until 10/31/2013.

2013 Chrysler Town & Country

The 2013 Chrysler Town & Country minivan can handle up to seven passengers across three rows of seating.  It also offers the Stow 'n Go feature, which allows each seat behind the first two positions to fold flat into the floor to give easy access to the vehicle's 143.8 cubic feet of cargo space.

The 2013 Chrysler Town & Country is available exclusively with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine.  This motor has been tuned to provide 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, and it also offers up fuel mileage of 17-mpg in stop and go driving and 25-mpg on the highway.  A six-speed automatic transmission is standard with the minivan.

There is an incentive of 0.0% financing plus $1,000 cash back or $3,000 total cash back on the 2013 Chrysler Town & Country available until 09/30/2013.

2013 Fiat 500c

The 2013 Fiat 500c is the convertible edition of the Italian automaker's affordable subcompact hatchback.  Although it trades in its practicality for a very small trunk opening, the Fiat 500c is a stylish entry into the tiny drop-top segment with its unique fabric roof and fixed side posts.

The 2013 Fiat 500c starts out with a 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that can be relied on to produce 101 horsepower and 98 lb-ft of torque.  Fuel economy for the base motor checks in at a thrifty 31-mpg in city driving and 40-mpg on the highway.  The 500c can also be ordered with a turbocharged version of the same engine that delivers a more respectable 135 horses and 150 lb-ft of twist.  All versions of the Fiat 500c are offered with the choice between either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.

There is an incentive of 0.0% financing or $1,000 cash back on the 2013 Fiat 500c available until 09/30/2013.

2013 Nissan Rogue

The 2013 Nissan Rogue provides better-than-average handling for compact crossover shoppers.  It also offers a family-friendly cargo area of just under 60 cubic feet with the second row of its five passenger cabin folded forward.

The 2013 Nissan Rogue comes with a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder as its only engine option.  Power for this motor shows as 170 horses and 175 lb-ft of torque, and a continuously-variable automatic transmission handles the gear shifting duties.  All-wheel drive is available with the Rogue, but front-wheel drive models provide the strongest fuel mileage (23-mpg around town and 27-mpg on the highway).

There is an incentive of 0.0% financing or $1,500 cash back on the 2013 Nissan Rogue available until 09/30/2013.

2013 GMC Acadia

The 2013 GMC Acadia is a massive full-size crossover that can carry as many as eight passengers or haul up to 116 cubic feet of gear with the rear rows out of the picture.  The GMC Acadia also has enough grunt to tow an impressive 5,200 lbs of trailer weight, if required.

The 2013 GMC Acadia's standard 3.6-liter V-6 produces 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque, thanks in part to its dual exhaust system.  A six-speed automatic transmission is included free of charge, but all-wheel drive is optional with the crossover.  Fuel mileage for the Acadia is listed at 17-mpg in city driving and 24-mpg during highway cruising.

There is an incentive of 0.0% financing or $1,500 cash back on the 2013 GMC Acadia available until 10/31/2013.
